When I am at work I feel like I am being inconvenienced so I look to be only as productive as I need to be without losing my job.
If I work from home I feel my productivity levels are monitored much more so I actually do more work out of paranoia.
Employers are generally Mongolians with control issues.

Working from home means waking up at 7:50, relaxing while checking emails, taking a dump in my own bathroom when i feel like it. Cooking a nice healthy and cheap lunch. Also not paying for gas and congesting the roads and pumping exhaust into the air

I’m probably 2-3x more efficient working from home I just work straight 9 hours crushing shit and don’t even eat lunch at home because I get so tunnel visioned. In the office I constantly had people coming to joke around or ask me dumb questions and took a 1.5-2 hr lunch daily.

Haven’t worked in an office for 7 years and I really miss it honestly, so much less exhausting plus I don’t have the wife constantly getting mad at me I’m not helping her with shit. I don’t miss the commute though, that part of office work sucks.

DESU some employers have seen this, and notice that some employees work pretty much 24/7 if they have a remote connection to the office.

I work even weekends, but I always work the 40 hours, and my production was equal if not the same of that of the office.
