anyone ever own or manage a vending machine before?

the run down is i work at a gun store, i can put a vending machine in the store. i dont want to sell food items as i think that requires food licensing and stuff. i intent on selling knives, magazines, and maybe lighters; does that pose an issue since they are restricted items? its on private property but still 18 year old restricted.

also, what kind of vending machine should i get? i dont need one with refrigerator capabilities so ive been looking into ones they put in bowling alleys and car washes. i also dont know how to do payment system, i figure a credit card processer would be best

Shop for third parties to process these. Some may do it for free because they make money off of money coming through the system.
