Do these two seems legit to you? Sorry i can't do better pic-wise, it's from an ebay auction.
If the 1795 draped bust dollar is real, this would make it beyond worth it to buy the whole collection. But if it's a repro/fake, i'm busted.

Got Lucky last month.
>be me
>go to a PNC bank in Miami
>no banks do cash anymore
>so I have to request to do a $20,000 withdrawal.
>will be 2 days before it is ready
>go back in 2 days
>overhear one of the girls talking about that guy that dropped off a bunch of half dollars
>Ask to get some of them
>they tell me its $500
>I ask for $100 worth
>I see her walk to me with a handful and I see those stupid yellow Loomis Armored rolls
>she hands me 9 bank rolls and 1 hand rolled with a paper wrapper
>BINGO
>find these 2 guys in there
>go to another branch and deposit the $99 of fiat money
That was a good day.
Then get back to Texas
>go to another PNC to make a big deposit
>Hispanic lady takes my money
>ask for any half dollars
>she says yes
>then she looks at me and squints and says
>"I have already looked thru them to take any silver ones out"
>heart races
>if I say "oh noes I dont want them she will learn my power level and know I am a stacker too"
>So I say "oh thats okay I just like collecting them"
She knows that I know that she knows I know I wanted to look thru them.
Still a somewhat good day. Found another secret stacker

FDIC only covers 100 to 200K max.
Anything beyond that, and you're funked.
That being said, 100K for most Americans, to have it sitting in a bank, is almost unfathomable. The few that have that much, have it tucked into stocks, bonds, or other things that actually PAY INTEREST... most bank accounts don't pay more than 1%, perhaps 2%...you can buy T-Bills and such, and make almost 6%, every month.

Yes, 1oz Kangoroo silver and gold are the best deals on that picture.
Try to find a page that compares all the online dealers to get the very best price.
If this is you starting, i would skip the silver and go straight to gold. Look at how the spread (sell minus buy in %) is the smallest?
Obviously you have to put more money down, but it's worth it to accumulate more money first to save a few %.

I forgot to mention but I don't want to buy interstate because of digital records. Thinking of just shopping in my area with cash, because there's no trace. I think sometimes they make you sign shit if it's over a certain point, but they do have to destroy those records after 6 years or something.
I just fucking hate the idea Australian Tax Office automatically knows how much I have on me due to records. They can't reasonably know that I have gold stashed away if I bought with cash.

My intent is to keep the PM longterm for my kids, but I'm realizing such numismatic coins could be seen as a burden to identify the value and liquidate.
Initially I liked the idea of the historical significance of coins, and coins backed by value, given the inevitable move to digital currencies.

It's called cognitive dissonance. They bought based on the COMEX nonsense theory with high premiums, probably for years.
Hearing others saying it's a tinfoil-hat theory (it is after all based on the confession of a trader on his death bed) poses a logical problem. So they defend their previous decision even harder and back down into it.
A rational person would look at their stack, assess the real value without perceived "numismatic" value and realize it's far less worth than what was paid for.

>>56009590
>the best investors know it's okay to hold cash, even lots of it
That is the most idiotic statement yet from another tankie.
Cash loses you more than 10% right now. Investment grade bonds get you 4%.
That is a delta of 14% every year. Only a communist wouldn't be able to do the math.
Either you buy gold as a store of value, or invest in commodities such as silver/oil/wheat/lean hogs/mining/whatever, or buy stocks.
Holding large amounts of cash when inflation is high shows third world understanding of wealth management.

Trust da plin

Gold buyers don't have this problem. There never was such a theory, it's just a store of value and that is that.

AND on the top left there is a silver demi-franc from Napoleon.
Both coins are usually going for north of 100 bux, sadly they are in really bad shape here so they wont fetch even near close that price, but still, i only paid 15€ for the lot. Super happy 'bout this one.

Don't underestimate the ingeniosity of the (((government))) when it comes to steal your shit. There are more than one way to deprive us from PMs (mainly silber).
The most used one is simply to raise taxes on PMs' purchases and/or sales. Which is an abberation, money isn't supposed to be taxable. Just like it recently happened with silver in India and Germany.
And it's extremely effective, look at the UK, most stackers there only go for gold since they have to pay VAT on silver items, automatically putting them 20% behind.

To get back PMs in the system, they can put in place taxes' rebates if you pay in gold and silver, this method is slowly being implemented in several US states.

They can also prevent you from leaving the territory with your PMs by making it a taxable event, where you have to declare it and pay customs fees (at the airport for example), making sure no PM can effectively leave the country.

None of those (((methods))) are plain consfication, yet the end result is exactly the same, but at a slower pace and without the tyrannical mask. Truth is, it is still theft, and it is still a tyranny.

I don't remember complaining about bubble mailers but shipping costs could have been better. It was like $7 for your Ground Advantage shipping when you could've had (free btw) USPS small flat rate priority boxes delivered in two days at $8.

Oh, I wasn't implying that stacking metals isn't a good move to make because of the possibility of confiscation. Personally, I am allocating all possible funds I get my hands on to PMs right now, and I'm selling old things to trade for PMs.
I'm going all in, but the possibility that they could do something so depraved is there, weather we like it or not, it's not up to us. I wouldn't simply just give them up, and I suspect most people wouldn't either.
My post was to bring attention to the ridicule of a situation in which the government tells its citizens to surrender their wealth, and a sizeable portion of citizens do it, and then celebrate the beloved great freedom they think they have over other countries. I have heard and seen tons of Amerimutts going on and on about how great the freedom in their country is.
Then again, the years from the current decade, showcasing people lining up to receive the shots again and again, have shown me that there is no limit to the subservience and brainwashing of NPCs

100:1 silver:gold

That's around the current market value ratio. When the ratio changes in favour of silver swap your silver for more gold.
When it changes back in favour of gold swap it for silver. That's how you play the game. It will grow by itself like this but it takes a long time.

so we actually have a super relavent reason for out pricing scale its kinda wonky but to keep costs lower for non burgers we use the 7 dollar rate for small packs to help round out other shipping costs.

non american shipping is expensive and a fair amount of orders come through their so to avoid the grief the aussies and euroes would have to pay we do that. and shipping supplies do factor into that a bit as well since we cant order mailers by the pallet for fractions of pennies. we do understand the concern about it though.

we do want to be transparent about our costs with /pmg/ since everyone here is why we get to make cool things

so our shipping breakdown is like this
20 for ausie/newzealand (it costs more than that)
15 for non continental us (costs actually went up when we werent looking
15 for most of euro
7 for american to bridge the gap between bubble mailers/flat rate shipping+helping out euros
6,000,000 to israel for obvious reasons
we put a bunch of work designing a pricing system that helps the people we would have to pay more since they already have to pay VAT
>>56013097
profits kinda wonky, we dont actually take cuts in cash when we make runs but there is profit. its mostly rolled over into new coins/other projects and being saved for expansion. we really want to get a coin press and a burnishing machine or something. That would make it so we could just have the dies made and then make anything we want and stock any amount.

kek, you start to talk like a PR of big corp. Don't claim things you don't *truly* want, fren.
Otherwise i'm taking you to the word :

Dear Holo, can you disclose how much extra the mint was charging you per round for the gilding of Otoya compared to the regular version?
Thx in advance for your transparence!

kek, i am the PR monkey for us so that tracks. yeah the gildeds cost between 60-70 to make and the rest of that goes towards getting the dies made/artwork/big overhead costs. helps us keep the prices down as far as we can for the rest. im pretty sure thats been mentioned.

That much? Damn, i was expecting it to be way less, considering the amount of gold must be pretty insignificant..
I thought they'd charge you an extra 5 bux or something along those lines... and that you'd pocket the difference. Apparently i was wrong.

Did you try to play the concurrence to see if the mint you are using are charging normal rates for this kind of prestations?
Anyway, thanks for your answer bro.

we shop around pretty often to see if we can find better mints to do work through and get things done, we did see one company offering platting for a better price but upon inpection their work is spottier than osbornes guys. osborne doesent actually do the gilding in house they send them out as well so i imagine there is a cut somewhere.

Actually, it is. A 24K gold plating (0.5 micron thick, the norm) cost $2 per square inch gold wise. And there is not a square inch to cover per coin..
And they are charging more like $30-40 extra from what Holo said.. for $1 worth of gold.

fellas I think the bigger deal is the negative earnings remittances (here: >>56013479) but that's just my opinion
Basically, when the fed turns a profit on its assets, that money goes to the treasury (for them give to ukraine). Now the fed is realizing losses for the first time ever, so does the treasury write a check to give to the fed? Well, nobody really knows, but one thing that's for sure is that without the extra money coming in, the treasury is going to have to borrow even more, and faster, which is why the interest payments on the debt are exploding (here: >>56013485). Our currency is on the brink of collapse and I feel fine
