If subtlety is not a concern, look up cigar humidors. They're a nice compromise between cost, strength, elegance, and size. A full box may weigh 20-30 pounds. New ones usually come with the hygrometer and humidifier pad loose - unmounted. You can toss the pad, but the hygrometer might be useful somewhere.

The Krug is not pure gold - it has a more copper color. It might also be dirty. As it has no numismatic value, it's okay to wash it with a bit of dish soap and your fingers or a non-scratchy sponge.

The lack of paid IQDELET shills in this thread combined with the recent pump this week is extremely concerning to me.
I feel as if the bullion banks are going to long silver very soon. It would be stupid of them not to. There's already evidence of banks cashing in their short positions. We won't win until they get the cake first, then we will get our slice and eat it.

It was already posted in the previous bread, but i think this interview deserve more visibility :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n4xdMFYAouk

DTDS details how the ASE scam was operated by Blackrock and their puppet the US Mint (as well as the resellers vultures happy to oblige) to rip off retail buyers with astronomical premiums the last 2-3 years. While retards with their muh ASE purity spiral were paying $12-15 over spot for the exact same silver, Blackrock, authorized (((participants))) and resellers made $350M on their back in extra premium alone.
Good job feeding the enemy you thought you were fighting against. But i think they understood their mistake, at least partially, because we don't hear much from the ASE afficionados any more since the premiums collapsed.

The main culprit was the autistic Eggnig/ASEfag, he basically disappeared after I revealed how he was also the 30-40PBTID faggot throwing a multi-week tantrum earlier this year crying about the delays with Boomercoin and MintAnon's refusal to manufacture the Frensmark. It's a damn shame because I was really starting to enjoy trolling that chucklefuck and making him apoplectic when I'd talk about scrap silver cheapies being better than his stupid $42 ASEs, kek.

As an employee?? How did you manage that?

Anyway, you should keep much of it as gold, but not in the form of scrap. If you want more money to invest in stocks (broadly risky and unwise IMHO) then just sell the premium pieces and use their proceeds to grow your brokerage holdings. The rest that isn't worth more than melt I'd send to a refinery and get the gold returned as .999 bullion which will be much more liquid than random old rings etc. I've never had close to your volume of karat scrap so finding a place that'll return nice bars might be more to your speed, but I have mine turned into 1/10th ounce gold rounds by PG&G which the shops and stackers around me know and trust.

I remember this my fren. Was funny to see you shit in his throat. Also, i couldn't help but nootice the "empty the US Mint" (where the squeeze should solely focus on ASE rather than silver) completely inorganic threads on plebbit's SDG started at the same time Eggfag was on a spamming rampage shilling his overpriced kikecoins here.
It ended up being a total fiasco as the logic is just plain retarded of course.

I wouldn't be surprised if both events are related. Resellers and Blackrocks are the only winners when some tardo buy an ASE, but even a schitzo like me don't think the big bois are behind this shilling. It's just few seething baggies trying to convince others (and themselves) they didn't simply burn $15 on each coin they purchased. Eggroid leading the charge.

Feel gud being part of the scrap chads and never have to worry about being in the red, ever.

It's understandable coins vary in price, sometimes greatly. Collectibles, limited mintages, antique coins,..
The main issue with the ASE being more expensive is this coin is none of that. It's simply a basic gubment coin, minted by the millions each year, who isn't especially attractive, nor rare. Hell, it's even lagging behind most others mints in term of security features. Nothing justify paying any extra for it.

I think that he is right in that inflation will exist regardless; however, the issue with fiat is that there is no front payment for the deficit spending that the govt has, and with metal, at least those taxes are collected literally and then used by the govt. Under the current fiat ponzi system, 19,000 lbs of ink is used every day to print more currency. That kind of inflation isn't possible when the currency has a discovery price and not just printed at infinity.

You usually have to pay more for the privy coins, because they aren't as many as the regular coins. There's no data yet for 2023 elephants, but you can see the mintage number for the different privy marks they made in 2017:
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces97509.html
It doesn't say how many regular coins got minted that year, but previous years have some data (226,206 in 2014), so it's probably something close to that.
I also bought this coin, which costed a bit less than the regular 2017 elephant, for some weird reason.

You will always be feeding the enemy you think you are fighting because the enemy literally controls everything and has controlled everything for centuries. Even the return to the Gold Standard will be controlled and managed by the entities you think you are getting one over on.

Thanks for sharing the video, I will check it out today. I think the ASE's are nice looking coins, bought one roll when they were $31. Bought numerous rolls when they were sub $20. Looking to convert most of my silver to gold in the next 6 months.

I always doubted the scrapchads but today I finally lucked out. I got picrel for $0.50 at a yard sale.
I thought it was a goblet at first but matches online identify it as a sherbet cup.

Judging by the stamp the base is filled with cement. The cup itself must be solid silver because I was able to easily pop a dent in one of the sides.
The stem near the cement filling is crimped a bit.

I know that it's not truly solid silver because of its cement base but it's the first sterling find of mine, I'm estimating 20-25g of sterling.

It has a rather nice patina but I intend to use it, so here are some pics before I baking soda/aluminum it and finish it with a hand polish and buffing.

So does everyone who's never actually looked for it and instead makes excuses (like "muh boomers all know what they got") for their lack of trying. There are plenty more cheapies out there waiting so keep your eyes open, watch for promising local estate sales and good luck!

Hey guys, I'm in the market for a gold wedding band for my fiance. All the local jewelry stores blow. They only offer 9ct gold mixed with nickel for men's rings; which I think is a real shame because they have plenty of 14 and 18ct jewelry for women.

Since we are PM collectors, I would love to get him something higher quality even though it'll obviously cost more. Does anyone here have experience with requesting custom jewelry? I have no idea what to look for in a good jewler.

I realize 18ct might ding too easily so I was thinking 14ct. But I guess the hardness depends on what it's alloyed with. Is electrum something any of you have purchased? What would be a good alloy to request? Thanks for the help.

I buy RMs from a local in Germany. I'm waiting on the recent lot of 20 5 RMs with the swas for 3.2 XMR / $480. I'll post pics of them when they come in.

I started stacking right before SVB collapsed and I think we're on the same level-ish, you just have gold which I'm still a pussy about buying. I'd say we're stacking steadily and stacking well.

Shadilay friend. I have one of those too. My number not much higher than yours.

I’ve also got a bunch of K patches. Had most of them from 2014-2017 ish.
>>55957535
I got off a guy selling them directly. I don’t think even including postage it was more than £10.

Anyway, bong and my otoya is due tomorrow apparently. Any other UK peeps already had theirs yet?

I have a special coin arriving today. This, and the last coin I got from Europe, took about 2 weeks in transit. they always seem to get held up somewhere for days. Unlike packages from Japan. Those usually juat take 2 or 3 days. Get it together, lazy Europeans.

I looks like PMs are opening up in the red this week. I wonder what will happen with the markets in general. There are talks again of recession. Michael Burry's $1.6 billion dollar short that the entire economy will crash honestly has me spooked.

He's made his biggest short since the 08 crash and this is a big deal. Throwing that kind of absolute assurance behind his guess really spooked a lot of people.

I am thinking that the next bump the market sees, I'll pivot my IRA and 401(k) into a money market account and just wait and see what happens until he's either proven right or he sells his shorts. I can't afford to see all my retirement savings wiped out in a market collapse. If he's wrong, then I just missed half a year of gains or so. Feeling antsy waiting for that bump though...

Michael Burry has predicted like 12 of the last 2 recessions. He's still chasing that high, and he's wrong more often than he's right.

In other talks, I finally found an LCS that isn't trying to rip everyone off. Got some rounds at $25 an oz and a couple gold grams at $65, feels good man. Also worked out a deal with another place that's willing to sell me all the scrap jewelry they buy for melt value to save them the trip to the refinery.

Did he place billion plus dollar bets on all those? If so, he'd be about $10-15 billion dollars in debt. If no, then his current bet should hold significant weight.
