I'm a pilot. I fly for a major US airline. Short answer is no, I don't find it fulfilling. I make great money for relatively easy work.

I have perspective, and realize that it's much better than most jobs out there, but it's still really unfulfilling. I'm a 3D bus driver.

Mostly struggle. Idk what fulfilled means.

My time is filled, with a whole lotta nothing. That's pretty great I guess

I repair forklifts. Crown certification, been at it for 15 years.
I fucking love it and couldn't imagine doing anything else. Love my workmates, everyone has eachother's back. Zero drama. The work is the drama.
It breaks, we fix it.
If it doesn't break, we maintain it. Every truck is on a schedule.
With blue collar jobs, I could make more if I became a contractor, got a truck and did mobile repairs on private lifts but I'm guaranteed the work where I am, and don't have the massive liability of working in someone's 30-year-old shitbox lift that hasn't been ran in 10 years.

>You see, we all got what I call a life trap - a gene deep certainty that things will be different... that you'll move to another city and meet the people that'll be the friends for the rest of your life... that you'll fall in love and be fulfilled... fucking fulfillment... and closure, whatever the fuck those two fuckin' empty jars to hold this shit storm. Nothing's ever fulfilled, not until the very end. And closure - nothing is ever over.

Cyber security for a faang. I love on a homestead with a fat tiddy GF and my dogs making $350k, so I'm alright. I feel that my place is not here though, but in the warband.

Until then, I'll just keep chopping trees and auditing web apps.

Insurance, bodily injury claim handler. I do not like it most days. I tend to slack a lot. Dealing with lawyers is annoying. Dealing with blacks committing obvious fraud that we can't prove and then having to pay them $50k+ is also annoying.
