My biggest issue with the situation regarding L2's is just the mindset, really.
Eth and BNB go and go all day long, fees, fees, fees. Does anyone sit back and wonder how much fucking better shitcoin gambling would be on poly or op, or base? Not spending 20 fucking bucks just to get $50 of something because you don't trust it any further than that?

Forget all the layer 2 nonsense, it's just a fad and a cope for eth's lack of ability to scale. Your average norman will not bother with the pain and expenses of using a bridge to use layer 2's. Honestly, the best bet for the future as far as layer 1's is Solana.
