Premiums become more expensive when implied volatility is higher. Before earnings, the options market will price in elevated volatility which cause premiums to go up. This is where the “implied move” comes from. After earnings, the main catalyst for increasing volatility goes away, meaning there is less risk to the options seller that a call or put will be in the money at expiration. Volatility is one of the primary factors in options pricing. IV = implied volatility, or the markets best estimate of an expected move up or down

high IV = higher option prices
low IV = lower option prices

IV pretty much always drops after earnings, because volatility builds up into the event (earnings report) and then falls back down after the event has happened (uncertainty is now gone, so volatility is now gone)

IV crush is when you paid for expensive high IV options, then volatility drops off a cliff and your options lose value because the volatility takes a nose dive. even if the stock surpasses your strike price, you can still lose money because the volatility dropped so much

No one does it at the volume or userbase size as Nvidia. Intel is really promising right now for GPU, keep an eye out for them, they've practically covered most of the consumer AI uses with where oneAPI and OpenVino and will probably be in good shape to challenge Nvidia next year when their new chips launched. AMD is considerably behind, most from a software standpoint than either Nvidia or even Intel. Specialized AI chips though, various companies are in the lead but because GPUs are dual use and CUDA, companies decided to pile into Nvidia.

There’s a lot of websites that allow you to calculate the option premiums, honestly I don’t really use them so I wouldn’t know any good ones. What you could do is just find one you like then at the option Greeks for NVDA puts/calls right now. Since the market is closed, I don’t think those numbers will be updated. Then once the market opens, you can see what happened to the premiums and see what happened with IV.
