I unironically don't see why 'privacy' would be the next bullish narrative when normies are more than happy to sell their telemetric data and their biological data ($WLD) for like $50 bucks or whatever. I don't see why ICCP/IBC would be a bullish narrative either since they clearly didn't pump LINK nor ATOM. The most popular project right now is an useless run of the mile layer 2, and that became popular because it was made by an ultra centralized globohomo company. I think crypto is unironically dead. My only hope is Marlin Protocol and their enclave technology which would turn Defi into ACTUAL decentralized finance instead of blockchain protocols relying on traditional, extremely centralized systems... But that's about it.

Also, buy monero, too.

>> No.55905547

There is no "next narrative". $PEPE pumped for no reason and the people that bought probably x5'd their initial investment. Crypto is dead and only unfunny jokes remain.

... So you see why privacy would be a good narrative, then? I'm confused.

the concept of having a digital coin that was worth real $$ used to be very novel and interesting. now it's boring and in danger of becoming really stale.

$POND makes things more secure more than anything. I phrased my argument wrong - with enclaves, bridge hacks and such would be pretty much impossible and blockchain projects wouldn't rely on Amazon or Google or Cloudflare or whatever the fuck.

>Why did Bitcoin become popular
it became popular because it's an effectively uncensorable means of value exchange that is private enough for most uses. privacy beyond that offered by non kyc exchanges, mixers, and xmr is a complete meme. every year there are at most 3 privacy projects that pump (but always less than the market in general), and they all fade into irrelevancy when people realize, again, that BTC, ETH, and XMR have all the privacy you could need

Fine. Bitcoin was also used a shit ton for money laundering and illicit activities because regulation unironically did not exist back then hence you could use your own personal wallet to buy coke on the Silk Road using Bitcoin and nobody would bat an eye.

Happy?

ETH is done for, it’s time you realize that. Vitalix checked out, l2 suck, the future of enterprises and huge use cases will be on Hedera and Chainlink.

Next narrative is tokenization of the world, coupled to fractionnalised assets.
