Yeah that's what I've learned to do.

At my last job I would just say that I chilled and relaxed, for some reason that weirds people out.

I've started going to a local chain hotel on the weekends. There's a pool, TV, AC and a WiFi. I can pour a hot bath, like back on a cozy bed, brew a pot of cheap coffee, and just relax between the hours of 3pm-10am. Sometimes I like to pretend I'm a traveling businessman, drifting from place to place seeing the country whole selling typewriters.

During the week I squat in a rat-infested hovel on the outskirts of town and try to put all of my money into a savings account. But once a week I can just relax and be cozy. It's nice.

How the fuck do normies have energy to do all those crazy things in weekends, and still clean, cook, do maintenance etc. and then respawn at work 8:00 sharp looking fresh? Every fucking weekend

Sometimes I feel like we are playing against like counter strike bots on hardest difficulty that would just headshot you from across the map while turning around 180 degrees

Today we got some good deals at the grocery so we're having filet mignon and lobster tails. $25 for 4 large lobster tails sounds good to me

Seems like a pleasant enough conversation.
I'm a blue collar and all I'll be hearing at the start of my shift is the most outlandish tales of sex and how many girls my colleagues have snagged and in what positions and how much cum their partners swallowed and how much of a wrinkled lesbian the boss is and how much cum she needs all over her face to look younger. Someone will inevitably mention how they broke the speed limit on their car or bike all to the background sound of thunderous laughter and the clicking of lighters.
I try my best to fit in but I'm pretty sure they suspect I'm gay. I wish I had office workers they seem a lot easier to interact with. The only time when "popular culture" or anything related to television was discussed was when that titanic submarine got lost and everyone tried to come up with the most gruesome theory of how the passengers died.

I should have gone to uni.

Yeah you're not the only one, anon.I should have went for my own sake but I knew I wouldn't enjoy it .I was a straight A student but I can't handle academic culture. I will die on each and every hill I believe in which doesn't sit well with a lot of people. That's not to say I'm stubborn, I just like to state my point and hear someone else's. I'm just never content with someone simply telling me how it is but a lot of people in my job like that and say they like that I'm eager to know things and that I stand by my decisions at work. My friends that went to uni though would describe me as hostile and aggressive.
>>55894702
Same for me. I know all my coworkers go out and do stuff on the weekend but they're still generally fine with me saying I did nothing just chilled out. They kind of respect it if I just frame it as trying to save money.

they don't do all those things, they just lie about it or have incredibly low standards of what they mean and/or they're in massive debt from hiring others to do it for them

actually living "natty", staying out of debt, and doing all those things is practically a FT job by itself

you're mentally ill and miserable so you cannot understand healthy people. they just do. they have lots of energy because they eat well, aren't miserable or lonely or sad all the time, and have friends, family, and commitments, they arent afflicted with the kind of lethargy that tends to seize NEETS, losers and social rejects, who become very atrophied and low energy, and adopt an idle mentality. it's like a crippled retard in a wheelchair trying to understand the lifestyle of an Olympic athlete.

You are experiencing some kind of irrational fixation with hotels. Psychologically you must view the experience as a chance to escape from your shitty life, but not only is this an illusion it's a counterproductive one considering that it's expensive. That's $320 a month minimum.
