I used to be like you and think token not needed. But then I realized that was the most fucking retarded and midcurve take of the century. If you don't understand that the oracles themselves need to be paid in link tokens in order for them to preform their jobs/tasks then you are lost. On top of that, all oracle fees will be able to be paid in ANY token on ANY block chain in the near future. Those tokens then get converted to native link tokens with a 10% premium. Keep fading tho
