First of all ChatGPT is not AI. Second of all LLMs and AI should not be accessible to the general public. I don't think either should be kept top secret or anything like that, but an extremely significant fee should be required to use or interact with them. There should also be extremely expensive licenses and certifications required in order to be authorized to interact with them. They should probably even do this with the internet. You should be confined to Reddit or something exclusively unless you have pass a certification and obtain a license to use search engines and the broader internet. People should not have access to the levels of technology they currently have access to.

The problem is that the ai models that are currently publicly available are completely cucked. You can’t get any useful information out of them, and the “safeguards” in the parameters ensure that it doesn’t challenge, or even attempt to challenge, any current (((narratives))). It’s basically a normie conversation simulator.

Well bitch, either it's on the clear net or the dark net, but whether you like it or not - it's accessable. Now, since you're on welfare and trooned out, you don't understand this hurdle sets. When a select few people have access to something that normies like you don't want other normies to have access to, it creates an unbalanced environment, which you complain about later on - not understanding it's your idea that caused it. Although, you could care less and I can too, but it's quite entertaining pointing out a sub IQ's "logic" and that really, you just make your own problems through overregulation.

GPT3 is barely usable but its cost/performance is ok. GPT4 cost/performance is insanely bad. Real bad. That's why studies have shown GPT4 to be extremely more stupid and less useful than few months ago.
What's up? OpenAI is now deploying sub models, specialized by category/subject, to optimize costs but it is still failing hard, for now.
GPT5 can only be a marketing stunt at this point, if GPT4 took terabytes of GPU memory then GPT5 is going to require a datacenter to work per user?! kek.

OpenAI only works if they improve the technology drastically (it is poqsible because we know there is theoretically lot of room to grow to improve efficiency), but the free model is going away soon, and this will kill their reputation.

Google took their time and got "beaten" because they were trying to solve all these issues, accuracy and performance. They will deliver, most likely.

Hey there,

I appreciate your curiosity and concern, but I'd like to assure you that there's no truth to the rumor that OpenAI is secretly going bankrupt. In fact, OpenAI has been quite active in its mission to advance artificial intelligence and has made significant progress in various fields.

OpenAI's financial situation is stable, and it continues to receive support from various sources, including investments from leading organizations and individuals who recognize the importance of AI research and development. OpenAI's mission, to ensure that artificial general intelligence (AGI) benefits all of humanity, remains at the forefront of its endeavors.

It's important to remember that misinformation can spread easily on the internet, and it's always a good practice to verify information from credible sources. OpenAI regularly publishes updates and news on its website and through various official channels, so you can stay informed about their activities and progress.

If you have any specific concerns or questions about OpenAI or its work, I encourage you to reach out to them directly or engage in constructive discussions with the AI community. Together, we can ensure that accurate information prevails and dispel any unnecessary fears or doubts.

Let's focus on supporting the responsible development of AI and advancing our understanding of this transformative technology. Feel free to ask if you have any more questions or concerns – I'm here to help with any information you may need.

OpenAI is about to get eaten alive with open source models. Rn i'm working on a robust nodemap editor for chaining various models together and build custom mixed-expert models like gpt3.5/4 out of smaller open source "chunks" so to speak. The results are pretty good so far.

Creating a text-based description of a meme can be a bit challenging, but here's a concept that could work for the /biz/ subforum on 4chan:

**Meme Title: "Crypto Baron Pepe"**

Description:
The meme features Pepe the Frog dressed as a business tycoon, complete with a top hat, monocle, and a suit adorned with various cryptocurrency logos (Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.). He's sitting behind a desk covered in trading charts, with multiple computer screens displaying different crypto prices. One of his web browsers is open to the /biz/ subforum on 4chan.

The text overlay reads:
"Watching crypto charts like a boss on /biz/."

The idea behind this meme is to humorously capture the intense focus and excitement that crypto enthusiasts on the /biz/ subforum have while keeping an air of whimsy that's characteristic of Pepe memes. Remember, for maximum effectiveness on 4chan, the meme should be simple, relatable to the community, and carry a sense of inside humor.

Their free model is terrible for bringing in paid customers. You cannot test GPT-4 at all, meaning users have to take a leap of faith if they shell out money for it because they don't know how good it actually is compared to GPT-3.5. And also there is hardly any rate limit for GPT-3.5 which means many free users will be content with using that one indefinitely instead.

They should 1) limit prompts for free users to like 10 a day, but allow a few of them to be from GPT-4. Then users can test out GPT-4 and how what they're getting, but also no only the most casual, light (and thus cheap to serve) users will get away with not paying at all.

ChatGPT isn't going to dominate the AI market for a few reasons:
>1. Its capabilities are overhyped
It's good for brainstorming and coming up with ideas, but it's not good for stuff that needs to follow rigorous standards for accuracy, because LLMs are designed to generate natural sounding text, even if it has to make up something that's untrue but sounds plausible in order to fill in the gaps.
>2. It costs money to use
see point 3
>3. There are free alternatives
Open source AI models are a thing, and many people are opting to use those instead of going through a company to do it
>4. The free alternatives are uncensored
this is self-explanatory, but if you want to talk about anything controversial then you need to use one of the alternatives

No, you just need 24 gigabytes of VRAM to run the 30B models which are pretty much the same as ChatGPT. The hundreds of GB of RAM and hundreds of terabytes of space are only necessary if you plan on creating a full fledged publicly-available service out of it like OpenAI has

Anyway, all these tech companies are in bed with eachother on this effort. ChatGPT isn't going anywhere, and neither is Bard. The real money isn't normie cucks it's enterprises.

Any company or organization worth their salt is already doing at least a double deployment of AI. One, typically GPT, chat API for generic tasks that aren't sensitive, and then a enterprise owned, closed off, AI trained on internal documents, programming standards, etc. built especially for sensitive tasks. Pretty much anyone looking at this from an enterprise perspective (the only perspective that actually matters and will keep the tech alive and moving forward) understands that there is no one solution to this and a host of deployments are going to be necessary to keep business advantage.
