Shill your vaporware somewhere else. It's truly amazing that they've managed to find enough suckers to keep buying this over six years and three rebrands so far – first POSWcoin, then Stakenet and now Hydranet – without ever releasing a single working product. Even if by some miracle they did pull a working product out of their asses, it will fail like every other atomic swap DEX before it because the setup is too complex and time-consuming for the average crypto user to be bothered with (see AtomicDEX, Blocknet, Basicswap, etc.) and because they'll never be able to attract sufficient liquidity because of their abysmal marketing track record. Also, token not needed.

They're apparently finally "getting close" to completing their tests and "getting close" to the release.

This is the same exact rhetoric they were spouting 3 years ago. They make up fake photoshopped images and PowerPoint presentations showing transactions happening but they never release anything because the "team" gets into "arguments" and decides to leave the project, rugging everything back to 1c while they're at it.

Don't bother.

Ex-baggies who are going to rope when this thing succeeds despite all odds. Remember, the most entertaining outcome is the most likely. What's more entertaining than a 3 times rug turning into a legit project and all the ex-baggies roping?

Imagine believing this. The "replacement" of the anonymous scammer devs by anonymous trusted team and solid devs is a standard story arc of every vaporware scam.

This is why this is going to make so many people rope. It totally looks like a scam from outside. But a few people, the people who made the mutiny happen, actually know the team and know it's legit, the people close to the multisig, who have read the source code.... I'm going to laugh so hard at you ex-baggies.

>> No.55833279

Nah, these guys are all genius-level devs who will be the first in the entire crypto space to succeed where all others have failed in releasing a successful cross-chain DEX with deep liquidity. They could have launched their own completely new DEX under their own brand but instead decided to step in and save the dying Hydranet project and its legion of badholders out of the goodness of their hearts because reasons.

>> No.55833372

>>55833279
The reason is the stakenet source code had 80% of the problem cracked with the first successful cross chain channel swap. They needed that code. From there it was a matter of fixing stability and reliability problems.

>> No.55833480

>>55833372
Oh yeah sure, because of course some random band of nobodies, working on almost no budget, are the ones that have "cracked the code" to an extremely complex problem. A problem that companies with billions of dollars dev budget haven't been able to solve. Sure buddy.

>> No.55833507

>>55833480
The problem was cracked in theory in a paper years ago. Stakenet has a very talented anon dev who implemented it but then moved on to other things. The remaining devs flailed around and couldn't complete it as a stable product. Then the community rebelled and a few talented SWEs took it to the finish line. Like I said, totally implausible from the outside. I don't expect you to believe me. But I do expect you to rope.

How did the scammer team just let go of the discord, telegram and Twitter (now X thank you felon musk) accounts to this new team? Joe Park was just a Discord mod and not an admin during the Stakenet days. I'll buy but they have to explain that part.

>> No.55834220

Everything was controlled by Draper. He wasn't a scammer, his was a just a bad manager and in over his head. The new team used community/DAO to put the pressure on him and he stepped down and handed over all the keys and control. I think he was happy to do it because they saved his bags and bailed him out of a situation he couldn't handle.

The Hydranet 2022 Recap covers the mutiny, its cause, the transfer of power, etc in full detail. It also explains Jo Park's origin.
>Jo Park started with the old team as a community moderator, gradually moving up to writing announcements, providing DEX support, writing articles (including German translations), running or administering social media accounts, and public relations. Despite working with the Stakenet team for quite some time, there was a consistent lack of communication between its internal groups that made it very difficult to make clear announcements and PR. After he was given little information about Stakenet DEX in the leadup to its disastrous December 2021 launch, he formally resigned. In the aftermath, Jo Park remained active as a community member and provided voluntary support to both the old and new team. He was highly-trusted within the community from his many years assisting people and was deemed the best fit to serve as the new leader of HDX.

The staff had virtually nothing to do with the hardcore XSN shilling on /biz/. It was 99% a community effort, and a sincere one. The DEX has attracted a particular kind of intense autism and schizophrenia for years - overtly positive and negative.
Layer 3 off-chain DEXs are just now becoming something mainstream. The days of autists and schizos fighting with each other over the viability of such a model for 12 hours straight in obscure corners of the internet are a thing of old.
To all those anons who remember XSN and wondered whether it was legitimate or not, I advise you to read the article to get the full truth.

From what I know the current team is actually trying to deliver a project but they aren't the most qualified and I wouldn't touch their software even if I was paid to. The worst of it is that they further scammed the hoards of baggies who swapped from XSN to HDX by diluting the shit out of their holdings. Then when that wasn't enough they changed their website to have ".ai" at the end and changed the ticker to "HDN" and further diluted baggies by making the new supply 300m from 170m HDX and allocating it to the "team/development". They are relentless scammers who can't even keep their story straight and who unironically think Chainlink is a scam compared to them.

Chainlink is a centralized data feed. Its "security" is based on post facto reputation. Nothing prevents scammers from developing a reputation and then oracle-exploiting any dependent network. CCIP is a "trust" WEF solution. Even if it works there is a huge market for cross chain dex that doesn't go through chainlink's centralized WEF scheme. Thus HDX is not a competitor.

>distract from rest of what I said
You contradicted yourself by saying current team is trying to deliver a project and then called it a scam for paying for development. You outed yourself as a seething ex-baggie who sold the bottom. Classic linkie manuever.

I was extremely bullish on xsn before (the concept anyways) but at this point, ICP literally solves this.

>> No.55838164

It's true ICP solves this but there are no usable cross chain dexes out on ICP yet and probably won't be any more at least a year. There are even other solutions in works I could mention but again they're not this year. That's plenty of time for hype train to make a run on HDN

Serious question. Who are the actual devs? Not the PR, marketing, team lead etc, but actual devs implementing this stuff? Are they ever voicing anything? I bet they are, AT LEAST 50% as autistically genius as money skeleton is, right..? Right? I hear a lot about these mystical "devs" doing god's work in the background, but I hardly hear anything at all from them. Who are they? What are they doing, and what do they think about the technical challenges they are going through?

>> No.55842135

>>55842091
The lead dev is Philipp, a german. But the core cross chain magic was done by earlier anon dev. There has been a lot of optimization, security, and stability improvements to bring it from prototype to functional product though.
