I remember 5 years ago where everyone was saying "it doesn't need its own chain, and oracles that spin their own chains are stupid design" but I guess now that chainlink is running out of narrative carrots to dangle in front of baggies with ccip being a major flop, they're just gonna move forward with the linkchain narrative hoping to survive another cycle, long enough to keep dumping the rest of the supply, I guess this was also sirgay's exit strategy now Chainlink is a L1, or maybe in yet another cycle when linkchain will be seen as a failed ghostchain they'll repurpose it as a L2 lol
