It'll just pick up from here at an increasing pace, we'll be at +$2 in no time or even in the ATH region.
Can't wait for the FS to drop. It'll lay a nice foundation and we'll soon see what the valuation potential here is and I bet even that'll be conservative at something like 4 million tons a year instead of 6-8, leaving a lot of room for big speculation.
I bet it'll be around 1.5-2 bil valuation and then you throw in the TPR deal and it's looking pretty damn good.
Add in this CEO to the picture and the whole thing is about as derisked as it gets. We'll be looking at an easy ~15x
With really good luck we'll see the general markets take a gargantuan shit along with PMs and we'll be able to rotate that money in there.

It's also great that the CEO has contract based on milestones, if he doesn't hit them he doesn't get money which is one hell of an incentive to be active and push aggressively.
And if there's a shitton of them like he says, it means we'll get a steady stream of news which is a nice change of pace from this damn silence we've experienced so far with this project.
I think that the best thing about this new guy is the connections he has due to his long involvement everywhere in the mining sector.

One of the traders I follow on YT suggested that lignite (brown coal) would be the way to go and mentioned places like Pakistan as top consumers (being that they were outbid on natgas and oil). Bituminous coal has a high carbon content and is good for metallurgy, which means it's used for economic/base metals, which is not good in the current macro.
Specifically he said to do DD on dedicated miners that produce mostly lignite coal, as opposed to a metals miner that has a coal branch

most of it is from the Carboniferous period, approx 299 million years ago. Plants / trees appeared, but fungus and other decomposing lifeforms hadnt figured out how to break the fibers down. The wood piled up in beds hundreds of feet thick, which then compressed in to coal. It kept happening at different scales too later on in the geologic record, but a good chunk of what we burn today comes from the Carboniferous period.

Fun fact, thats also when we had giant bugs for a while.

After watching it, my takeaways from this are:

About the only way you can get worse pay and benefits than a non-union coal miner is if you go work a gravel pit or quarry. And even then chances are you're doing better than the coal guys.

Part of it's just because they work in the very poorest parts of america. Part of it is the lack of union. Part of it is the extremely thin profits on coal. But it's shit work and shit pay for a miner even if you happen to be in the union.

Union coal mining nets you double time on Sundays, time and a half for over eight hours in a day, free health care for oneself and family, and two for one 401k matching up to 5%, so 15% per year. Copper pays less and has crap insurance.

afaik both will easily beat a coal job anywhere in the US depending on your skills and whether you're working underground or surface. The pit pays less than underground. Usually a lot less. But anything with an MSHA requirement in Colorado is going to make you $80k-$150k, with underground union miners with experience being near the high end of that scale.

$30 is probably a great wage in coal country appalachia. In colorado it's near minimum wage. Coal miners make far less money than metals miners in the US, but they also live in places where their money goes much further. Metals mines tend to be in places where a house is going to cost you a million dollars and even $75 per hour isn't enough to live on.
