Higher platinum price doesn't automatically include higher platinum stock prices. The same shit gold miner buyers say.
Also look at platinum. It is more used as an industry metal than gold or silver. it is underperforming compared to the others. Platinum might shine in the future should there be a hydrogen future, but even then, they are trying currently to find other metals or materials to substitute metal (different kinds of batteries (nickel-ferrum and what there is)).

>Platinum might shine in the future should there be a hydrogen future
I wasn’t aware platinum had a correlation with Hydrogen energy, interesting. It makes sense that platinum is used as the electrodes due to its non-reactivity. I don’t have much faith in fuel cell tech, not sure electrolysis will ever be made efficient enough for it to be worth it. I assume catalytic converters are a huge component driving the price of platinum, as countries develop like Indochina and Nigeria, and they start affording cars, would that not drive up the price? I assume that’s all fairly priced in, I suppose.

Well its like this; I bought the stock when it is cheap as hell. The Harry Potter stuff coming out will lure in the sheep and profit just like the Barbie film did. Now granted to older generation of fans the new HP series will be shat cause they'll fuck it up (maybe I dunno) to fit with the new "we can't offend anyone" times. But on the other it's been now 20 years since the first film and 12 since the last so a whole new generation of kiddies will be hooked on it. Also during that period of classic Potter the old Warner stock price was rocketing high. In 2018 right before T bought them out it was 90+.

the market open disgusted me and the intraday action was borderline criminal. i have no motivation to post on "trading" days like today. it's also sad because i knew exactly what kind of disgusting antics were going to play out and could have made some money but i know they're just waiting for me to get sloppy and hammer me. i think other anons feel the same way.
glowies in the threads trying to raise morale or taunt beartards is also pretty disgusting, low vibration behavior, what you'd expect from those slimeballs anyways.
i'm just putting this out there, to the market masters, that if you keep playing like this you're not gonna have me around minding the jukebox and coloring book, i'll go stir up controversy on twitter.

It is used more in Diesel engines currently. There it is the prefereable catalysator vs Palladium which is used more in gasoline engines. And since there is an economic downturn, especially in the automotive industry these metals are crashing it seems. Now that palladium finally got off it's insanity rallye, this pushes Platinum even further down, since I think I read they are trying to use more palladium than platinum also in Diesel engines. Can't remember anymore in which direction, but they are trying to substitute one with the other. I think it was platinum for palladium, which would explain the drop in palladium. But it seems general demand isn't that high and low palladium prices also cause low platinum prices.

Kek. This is what Time Warner used to command (now Warner Bros Discovery). Fun fact; the assets which aided in that stock price are still there for the most part. I'd say the few old bits of Warner that were sliced off have been more than made up for with the addition of the Discovery ones. Long as the bean counters don't slice the company up like a turkey and the profit keeps pouring in that stock price will one day reach these lofty highs of yore again.

Just had a random thought for an economic model. In nature, within an ecological group, you have primary producers like grasses, then herbivores, then carnivores.
In finance, arent there similar concepts? You have debt saddled normalfags, all they do is work and spend (grasses), then you have businesses that profit from them (herbivores), and eventually an apex predator (policymakers, banks, etc). There are many relationships that make it as complicated as a food web is.

US has had blips of deflation on consumer prices before. Blips, not spirals.

China, too, has had intermittent periods of consumer price deflation without it turning into a spiral. It is concerning that youth unemployment continues to hover over 20%, but this is comparable to levels of youth unemployment all across Europe. The US hit 22% youth unemployment at the pit of the 08-09 financial crisis. Spain, currently, is at 25% youth unemployment which is down from a peak of 55% they hit during the Europoor Crisis of 2011. EU as a whole is at 15% or so youth unemployment.

Fun statistic is that their fake meat is currently sitting on shelves for an average of 229 days, or 7 and a half months, and climbing

Honestly I'm starting to think 50-80% recovery on their inventory in a Ch 11 or Ch 7 situation is a bit optimistic. Hesitant to afford any value to their inventory at all. Not much value in the fixed assets either, half of their PP&E is manufacturing equipment to make fake meat.

The sooner they file for bankruptcy the better for the bond owners, if they do so now they at least get 18 cents on the dollar as the ultimate downside, maybe they can squeeze some value out of the non-manufacturing PP&E and get it closer to 30-40 cents.

Welcome to reality, son. They are squeezing the middle class and the lower class dry while the upper mid class and above are enjoying a bountiful season. Since everything is percentage-based, the wage increases are negligible for the lower classes... PPI keeps decreasing so companies can maintain their insanely high profits and easily compensate for the "high" rates (3-4% laughable pathetic rates).
Plus, high inflation means state debt erasure.
Everybody in high positions desires inflation. They will fight tooth and nail to maintain this system and their high profits.
Sure, the inflation might eventually decrease to the goal of 2% (at least officially) but will we ever see lower prices? Nah, normies be too dumb, m8.

I absolutely revel in the corruption and hypocrisy of the European mindset. Take Sweden as an example, the mecca of hypocrisy and acting like a two-faced bitch. Crying about Russia and boycotting everything related to Russia while importing Russian oil and of course Russian potash and fertilizer.
Blaming everything on Russia when electricity prices were already on the rise before the war and then taking advantage of the expensive electricity to export ginormous amounts to the rest of the Europe while the citizens pay insane prices. State gets to rake in massive amounts of cash (along with the large electricity companies) while the ordinary citizen suffers.
But then, why wouldn't they do this? Why wouldn't they want a high inflation? Normies don't seem to care and it seems to me they have fully accepted the new state of things. "At least I will get my 4% wage increase this year so everything is fine". If the majority of people are fine with this... then what?

>> No.55788718

>>55788684
In germany the majority, doesn't seem to be fine with that. Well it still is the majority, but it's drastically shifting. Probably won't be enough for AFD. But the next government will look really bad. They might need 4 parties for a coalation against AFD. Or at least three, but SPD and CDU have to work together again, what would be nothing but a joke and practically impossible with the current party leaders.

Why is Sweden importing from Russia? You have norway right beside you.

How can Amazon not balloon to 2.5T evaluation? They do everything flawlessly to mantain their snowball growth momentum

This energymarket will obliterate the economy and the stock market (again). Even Natgas somewhat looks bullish. Might break above 3$ and then au revoir

Because low wages in a private company will eventually starve them of workers. They're 'capitalism hanging itself' in microcosm.

Of course it's possible that soon the democrats will unveil their 'get neets jobs' program where they force adult men who just don't wanna work (for shitty companies) are drafted into the workforce to be slave labor for amazog. They already suggest a limited draft for the military, why not for amazon? It's so easy.

UPS manager here
>1) you won't work 40 hours you will work 80 hours because of overtime
more like 50, absolutely not 80
>2) union boomers hate 'pinch' drivers (people who drive their own cars as contractors rather than union guys) but union zoomers like them because it reduces the amount of overtime they are forced to do
this is not a thing at UPS
>3) the overtime pay is where your money is, but you have to do the overtime and never see your senpai
sorta
>4) you have to be a pack handler in the warehouse for a year before they will let you near a truck
depends on your location, sometimes longer sometimes shorter
>5) you need a CDL
no you don't
>6) you don't have time to fuck milfs
yeah there's no time except to work
>7) you have to join the union (this is why the pay is okay for the job, amazog is un-unionized)
you don't have to in an RTW state but you'd be a fool not to

Former UPSer here. I worked the hub for 2 years, around the turn of the century. Didn't join the union, and glad I didn't. Another 18 months and I would have been in a truck, I had no clue. But I'm 43, making over 90k/year, so it ended up okay. And my knees should last another 30 years (and my hips and shoulders). Being a package handler distroys bodies albet slower than the NFL.

>In germany the majority, doesn't seem to be fine with that. Well it still is the majority, but it's drastically shifting. Probably won't be enough for AFD. But the next government will look really bad.
The fake refugee invasion of 2015 was eight years ago and we're still in this situation. Germany is hopeless because the majority of the German population has no sense of self preservation. They're lambs leading themselves to the slaughter. The rest of Europe and European diaspora countries are the same. Shit's fucked, brehs.
