Yet, food and housing is fucked, a shitty apartment is $2k a month (good luck getting a home) and a mcdonalds meal costs like $15... the average new car is $48,008 as well. A can of tomato soup is $2.49 and a jar of peanut butter is $8

Student loan payments are about to resume and there's no way any of these people have budgeted that in after they have been frozen since covid.

I'll tell you a story. I was fresh out of college and there weren't any good jobs thanks to the financial crisis. While I college I saved some money from jobs and a small business I had and put it all into stocks. I was pretty lucky getting a job fitting my degree. At the end of the year I looked at my income.

I made more that year from stocks despite the real economy shitting itself. And that's when I realized: if you can't beat them join them. I cut down my costs and invested more money in my portfolio. Now I don't need to work anymore
