I don't get the appeal of huge houses. You need employees. The last thing I want is other people in my personal space. How big will your house be after you get rich, biz?

They deserve it anon

>> No.55740006 [DELETED]

I have a gf who wants me to marry her and not be a lazy neet.
But I seriously wouldn’t mind just buying a parcel of unrestricted land and northeast New Mexico and putting an Airstream down.
That would take around 100k. I can work remotely.
Couldn’t really raise a family that way but I could chill in peace.

robber baron mansions and other historical mansions are cool as hell because they have character and were made with brick and stone. they're impractical, extremely expensive to heat and maintain, but they are nevertheless beautiful and unique.

that 60k square foot plywood box is a grotesque abomination and i hope the jew owner burns to death in it.

That's what kills me about the "mansions" being built. To me, a mansion is something with distinct architectural features and not just some box for a rich dickhead to store their stuff in.

For me, I'd rather have a small place and lots of land

Should I stop? Seems the only profit is that I make a thread with a pic of it right now and say "guys I made it to the promise land" and a bunch of (You)'s ensue

idk, I guess to plan things? I bet money on nft games like duck race for a house, but I never really thought about what the fuck I'm going to do with one

Size doesn't matter so much as the number of bedrooms, baths, and storage space.

Minimum requirements: 3 bed, 2 bath on 1 acre
Ideal: 5 bed, 4 bath on 10+ acres

Grotesque, a Georgian mansion with about an acre is perfect for a single family, it's beautiful and is manageable by two adults, unlike the glorified strip mall in the OP.

I live in a 1700sqft house and I spend most of the time on the recliner. If I had a house that’s 3/4 the size of what I have now, I’d still be happy, maybe even more since I’d have to walk less

I live in a metal building that looks like this. Nondescript, might be a barn or someone's work shop. I have a 2 story apartment built out inside of it. And lots of room all my other shit also inside of the building. You might not like it but this is what peak home construction looks like.

These people have mental issues. Illusions of grandeur. They think of themselves as kings so they require something that reflects that. They probably get off (mentally) seeing all those "slaves" buzzing about.

thats a steel framed piece of shit. i can see the fucking purple weather defence sheathing board on it. That stuff is a absolute trash. its drywall with a plastic sheeting on the outside face. the sheets are joined together with thier special tape & silicone. inevitably you get condensation and water ingress issues within a few years and its all fucked.
