Anon we’re literally heading for a golden age if one of four different possible apocalypses doesn’t happen, and I don’t think they will.

Nukes and bioweapons are two, I guess famine due to climate/sabotage could be another.

Well I think Canada and Europe are in for basically stagnate economies and worse trading conditions in the future because they need to import too much and won’t have as strong currency like in the past. But the rest of the world including America are in for a great time, and even eventually Europe will do better, though overall it’ll still be better to be European than Chinese or one of the burgeoning economies in the world because gdp per capita will still favor them. I don’t think climate change will kill us. I don’t think nuclear war will happen. I bet we won’t have a world changing event. I don’t think we’ve poisoned the planet badly enough to not recover and are learning are lesson in time, though I bet we’ll do it again with new “wonder materials”. I also think the next 50yrs will bring technological marvels that vastly enhance everyone’s quality of life. We might have nanobots that extend and heal you by the time you’re old even. I genuinely feel optimistic about the future and want to take care of my health and invest as much money as I can to enjoy it.
