I’m not even sure career roasties are getting laid, even the good looking ones.

I remember one Friday at 4:30 my 27 yo HR manager who wasn’t bad looking was dancing around at work because she was getting laid that night and it been months for her and a peer of mine who was like a 9/10 before she put in weight used to go home after her shift, take some adderal and play CoD till she fell asleep while on break with a fuckboy chad for months. Almost nobody is having sex. It's a bit of a provocative, blanket statement, but you ARE right in your assessment. What you see online is basically what you get: people on Linkedin having some nice-sounding job title, spending their lives alone. Some also go e.g. rock-climbing or the gym, where people don't talk to each other either, at least not people of opposite sexes. Realistically, where would any working person of 25-35 meet anyone? You could have all but one or two hobbies in common, have the same political beliefs, think each other is hot even, but it won't make the least bit of difference if you don't gel in person. All that effort, all that stress, all that hoping for "meh, well."

You're not looking wide enough. You're referring to moments when they're already overcome by the mood. It takes them literal days to build it and in today's world nobody has that kind of time.
