had a talk with my boss today during lunch break. It takes around 20-30k just to hire a person. sometimes it can go as high as 50k for specialized fields.
that's litterally what they charge to have some stupid cunts look at resumes all day, ask you retarded questions on the phone, make you fill in dumbass questionnaires and schedule interviews.

Instead of doing that, it's a fucking breath of fresh air for any boss if someone just walks in and ask for a job. this way the cost of hiring you is basically zero.
BUT:
he'll be taking a risk. he doesn't have any of the legal guarantees the stupid cunts usually give him, and your resume won't get sold to him by cute sounding girls on the phone (this is most of the reason). you'll have to compensate for that.
so that's the only reason he won't hire you on the spot, even thought he wants to. that's the only reason.

you don't like the questionnaires? don't fill them in, you're fucking wasting your time.
go walk in anywhere you'd like to work, dress nice, look confident, and tell them you want to work there. no they won't care if you're a clueless idiot, most people who apply are, you just need to look like you give a shit. trust me that alone beats 90% of the people who walk in.
if they say no, you lost nothing, and just gained some experience.

The notion that you have to prove yourself before you're allowed to work entry level is a Boomer cope regarding how badly they've fucked everything up. There should be a class of job where you can walk in off the street and be working the next week at the latest (preferably the next day), almost no questions asked.
