I still can't believe Rocker laughed at me for being bullish. I know he apologized, but still... it's crazy. I don't remember the exact date it was, but it was last fall, right around the absolute market bottom. Since then, I have been 100% vindicated. Rocker may be a very good trader... maybe the best (doubtful), but his puny custodial brain can only look a week, at most, into the future. He can swing trades, but he can't see the whole market, or the whole economy. Meanwhile, every time I blink, I see the birth, the life, and the death of the entire universe.

Fucking zoomers man. Why do they travel in packs? All I want to do is run to the gas station and grab beer real quick and get the hell out but nope. Here comes 5 zoomers talking like faggots getting slurpies and clogging up the aisles. Oh and naturally they're all paying separately and have no money so they are paying with their speedy rewards. More in likely all the TV assets will be sold to some private group who will then milk those assets till no one pays for it anymore. There will be no "Spin". Shareholders will get a big fat nothing from this. No shares in new company for you. What this means for other two networks (NBC/CBS)?. Well depends. Comcast doesn't need to sell cause for one thing they aren't hurting for money. Indeed soon DIS will be giving them a fat check for Hulu. Redstone (CBS), will never sell unless the buyer takes the whole company for a massive sum. Honestly the content on TV can be moved to streaming pretty fucking easy anymore due to the fact it's all digital. Just like you updating your home based plex or jellyfin server with new stuff. Same principle. Just more broad. So all the buyer of those assets are doing is paying out the ass for a brand name (ABC/NBC/CBS). The content can and more in likely will be jerked off and placed on the streaming service of DIS/CMCSA/or Paramount.

There's only one company who could maybe do it. Apple. Amazon can't. They own MGM. The govt would never allow it. But just cause Apple could doesn't mean they will. Any deal would involve either cash or stock. If stock is involved then Apple shareholders would revolt due to the massive shafting that would result. (Company issuing massive amount of new shares). If cash is involved well, the cost would be pretty fucking high. The board of DIS and DIS shareholders would demand every penny Apple could cough up. Which would put Apple's financials into a bind (some new product flops, whoops, there goes the bags of cash that was supposed to go into the vault for a rainy day)

DIS has 2.08 billion shares outstanding. (Actually that number will be lower soon cause I plan to bag a few). Current price is 86 a share. >the internet will change the world forever and lead to infinite growth, and that means stocks will never go down agai- ack!
>AI will- ack!
half of the last century has seen a sideways stock market. boomers like Warren Buffet are not saying to buy and hold because the market always goes up, but rather because if you are DCAing in every month then you’ll end up buying the top but also buying the bottom, and you’ll end up making money in the long term. but it’s never been true that the market only goes up. it’s just not true that the market puts in a new ATH every year or two, forever. it does not. it regularly crashes and then takes one or two *decades* to recover to the previous high, and that’s just in nominal terms. when you adjust for inflation, SPY being at 200 in 2020 dollars is less than SPY being at 200 in 2000 dollars, for example.
I’m not saying “tomorrow is literally the top” or anything, and I’m not saying we won’t put in a new ATH this year or next, I’m just saying that the market will crash sooner or later, because it always does, and when that happens I don’t want to see a bunch of red wojacks and anons threatening to kys themselves because they actually thought the market always goes up and weren’t prepared for the inevitable but unpredictable downturn.
AI will almost certainly change the world, but that doesn’t mean the stock market will never go down again.

To be frank, I also think it's quite insane but the market disagrees with that assessment. There is essentially infinite amount of money they can spend in the market, as evident by the money supply once again going up.
There is a reason they discontinued the MZB just as they started printing in 2020. Fuckin hacks

yeah that's cute, then you compare her little artistic license with her real life. Women hate when men compare what they say to what they do, precisely because the more men look at women, the more they see women are just whores.

one of the biggest red pills is the first time you realize that women experience literally no disconnect between saying X when it feels good to say X, and completely betraying and contradicting X five seconds later when it feels good to do that. women like to "try on" male-centric morals and virtues like children playing dress-up, but they don't actually know what it means to set up a virtue as an objective principle for oneself and then resist the temptation to break it in future moments when it stops being convenient and pleasant.

so if you ask a woman what kind of guy she values, she will blab on and on for hours about how noble she is and how she sees through superficiality and only wants sweet genuine men and etc., etc., etc. then five seconds later she'll completely contradict everything she said. the key thing to understand about women is that they don't perceive any difference here. from a man's perspective, you are thinking "but she said 'i only do X' and two seconds later she did 'non-X'?" this is because the fundamental modality of male consciousness is erecting principles and trying to follow them - even if you're a shitty man, it just means you're shitty and weak at erecting principles, not that the FUNDAMENTAL modality of principle-erection is absent. a woman's fundamental modality is "doing what i feel like." to a woman, that behavior is completely consistent: in the first instance, she did what she felt like. then she did what she felt like again. only a man perceives that the CONTENT of the actions was contradictory, i.e., would be contradictory if performed by a man.

>> No.55595831

but for a woman whose primary stream of consciousness is "what do i want to do right now? :) perhaps i'll wear a ribbon in my hair tomorrow, trala la!," no such contradiction occurred, or indeed is even possible.

Are you retarded? NEVER buy shares of a woke company that has a large marketing division or it could have the fate of budlight. If you are betting on a liberal company, do options instead of shares. Hell get a single call and execute it for the 100 shares if you are that convinced to own shares, but dont take the risk on something happening then you are down 20%.

If you want to invest in woke company invest in kroger, when investing in liberal companies you want to aim for "in this house we believe in science" yard sign tier instead of LGBT pushers. Invest in pfizer, kroger, and blackrock.

Also personally im in palantir but they arent liberal they are just a good company, they signed another deal today, last one was $100m contract with airforce. They are pretty much investing in lockheeed martin in 1990 tier except they don't pay dividends and they are in artificial intelligence. They have more cash on hand than liabilities = I dont see them failing, they are also in position to buy out companies and patents.

Why is no one talking about PLTR? if you bought at $14 just a few weeks ago youd already be up 29%. They are a government contracter, atleast get some calls bros.

I see threads saying "bros whats the next 100x" in this economy we probably wont see many huge leaps, with palantir i think theres a realistic chance of it going to $30 by eoy, my average is 16.06, pic related. Yeah its a UTMA account but it doesnt switch over to my name until 21, i just turned 18 in may. Im hoping that PLTR has a big bullrun, itd help out so much, this run has made going from 5k to 6k very easy, i went from 5k to 6k in like 2 weeks which is a smug feeling.

unrelated, anyone else noticing that your portfolio is snowballing/getting momentum faster than when you started? 5k to 6k, and even 4k to 5k was so much easier than 1k to 2k. Dividends are smug I bought more palantir shares with my altria dividend.

Also rate my portfolio

The big thing has always been inflation. If people really feel it's contained in the US they can get bonds. That's what will pop the bubble it doesn't have to be fancy black swan or big gloomy news event. Does everyone think yields un-inverting before a crash is voo doo? The chosen investors see that there's no point in holding longer and grab the bonds while they're at their highest, locking in their bubble gains and wrecking people on margin as the sellers outnumber the buyers. This is like when bitcoin was 1k, dipped down to 400, went back to 800 and people saying the price is too high and its just going to dump again. It may of, but instead it rallied and btc ath was 69k.

My point being is theres many chances in life, and this is one of your chances of profit before its too expensive to live to put large amounts into your portfolio. Unfortunately our entire society is built around enriching usurers.

tell her that we are in the worst bubble since 2000, with equity risk premium not seen as bad as this since March of 2000 or August 1929
tell her to start saving up money, as if she was buying $X amount of stock each week/month, but to not spend the money; just build up cash, and then in October, you and her will re-evaluate and decide whether it is time to invest the cash or not, based on how things play out from now until October, and that most likely, everything she wants to buy will be on 10%+ sale by then

If they hadn't pumped 10x these past few months, they would've soon been forced to do an insane dilution at $5 a share to solve their debt crisis, if not declare bankruptcy outright.
Instead, thanks to an absurd meme pump, they get to dilute at $50. It may seem retarded to pump in the face of a massive dilution, but every dollar raised is a dollar of tangible value on a company that previously had negative shareholder equity, as long as this company exists and as long as it has large short interest, there will be buyers willing to eat total dogshit at retarded valuations, simply for the pleasure of knowing shorts will suffer more. This could potentially continue endlessly, as at some point such dilutions will naturally improve actual financials. TSLA, for example, pumped all the way to a trillion dollar valuation on it's own squeeze + dilutions in the wake of the infamous $420 tweet, eventually using the capital raised to expand new factories and secure years of visible growth. It may all seem very ponzilike, but that's just the way modern finance works.

CVNA also claim to be lowering their interest expense on remaining debt despite rates in general being higher right now. Not sure how exactly they're pulling that off.

BBBYQ makes for a good counterexample of this, where management fails to dilute into the retard strength, meme holders slowly realize that they're well and truly fucked, and the whole thing implodes with mass losses for everyone (except shorts).
