if it were possible to buy a rural property where you could mine xmr using hydro electric energy, while also escaping all the crime that comes with living in a city, and also spending a fraction of the money you have on real estate and build a self sufficient homestead, would this not be the ideal scenario, financially speaking, based on the nightmare scenario we face, total dedollarization

anything is possible

>using hydro electric energy
you're not going to get much output and if you do build anything with meaningful output, some forestry or land management fag will come and fuck your shit all up. why not try solar first?

you can get a lot more out of hydro electric on a consistent basis, the flow doesn't even have to be that much, just skim off of it and run it down a 100 foot pipe downhill, and then put the exit pipe back into the river, it's important that there are no major farms downstream that need the water, but as long as it's contained on your property and not viewable to the public I don't see how that's a problem

based on the current scenario we face, a true total collapse of the dollar, the tangible assets you have are everything, having hydro electric power could be the difference between life and death, of course you also have water on your property to drink, attract animals etc, you can fortify it easier

I've done some research on the solar output per dollar cost of setups and hydro electric as long as you can fill a pipe and send it 100 feed downhill it can power your whole house 24/7, and that's for people that use energy frivolously, for a solar system that's over 100k of equipment to power a household, but for hydro electric it might be 10k or 20k max

There is probably a law against you building something on that little river, even if it's your property.

1. maybe, but maybe not, you would have to ask around, as long as it doesn't interfere with flow downstream, then I think it would be kosher

2. even if it is temporarily, boomers are dying, federal government is collapsing, the dollar is failing, xmr will rise to the occasion, having hydro electric power is worth more than your life, people will fight and die for dams, unironically like fallout new vegas, when all of these systems collapse it will pay handsomely to be in control of hydroelectric power and one of the few stable currencies to ever exist, xmr

my bus goes 2-3 weeks in summer with just 500w of solar panels or 2-5 days in the winter, 90ah battery

there is room on the roof for 20 100w panels and I could add another row of 5 on each side that folds out

10 panels would easily break even power production wise in summer
15 panels for winter sustainability

ok you're talking about a bus with a few things here and there, I'm talking about a cryptomining operation and like heavy duty tool use
