Basically, the theory says that the dtc/dtcc can use shares in plan drs accounts as "locates" everytime a count comes up - as evidence that they have all the shares they need.
This isn't the same as them borrowing those shares, but they can count them as if those shares are available to satisfy all the fuckery from the shares exiting the exchange at such a rapid rate.
The only way to prevent this is to have all your drs shares as book. Having just one plan share means your entire account counts as plan and all those shares can be used.
If you have any fractionals or auto dividend reinvestment turned on, this means your account is plan.

Like I say. It's a theory. I have no idea how accurate it is or even exactly what the locates would be used for (satisfying FTDs?). But the superstonk mods went fucking apeshit trying to keep it suppressed and then trying to discredit it with the stupidest arguments imaginable. Where there's smoke, there's often fire.

Real estate is good. But I warn people that outside of a functional home to raise a family, the more "luxury" you add in to the home's value the more you stand to lose. Everyone needs a home to live and you will always be able to build equity in the home. But the higher the price of the home the more you have at risk.
