I tried to do this when I was 16.
I just ghosted and didn't show up for like 4 weeks.
Then I called my manager one day and asked him what my schedule is.
He kept going "Who is this? Who?" and then he finally remembered and just said "Oh...uh you don't work here anymore" with this tone like he couldn't believe how dumb I am and hung up on me.
