Right now, the whole crypto market seems to be in a bit of a slump (not too terrible, though, since ETH is holding steady at $1800).

But we've got 2 major bullish events coming up in 2024:

- Bitcoin halving (April 2024)
- Fed eventually have to end their rate hikes

Channers when do you think these double bullish catalysts would start reflecting on crypto prices?

The CPI recently got released a few minutes ago and i am still trying to grasp the extent to which this would influence the market.

Stay away from every crypto now and slurp into ETH due the heavy funds dumping into the liquid staking on major protocols.

I don't know, not smart enough. FYI, there are 2 more potential major catalysts coming as well.
1) ETF approval/rejection,
2) ETFs live to the public.

At least 6months following the halving. It's going to be a bumpy ride until then; if you're too light headed to handle the volatility you better stay on the sidelines and probably seek passive income with stables.

That's how you know a jeet that's ngmi. Diversify as much as is sensible and even when you want to dive into ETH liquid staking, the yield aggregators remain better options than single yield generators.

The approval of a spot Bitcoin ETF by the SEC could trigger a bull run in the crypto market only because it would make it easier for institutional investors to invest in Bitcoin, which would likely lead to increased demand and price appreciation. But it's very painful that only 60% of institutional investors are interested spot BTC ETF... It's still very low af.

Good point. But also recall the institutions who have applied for the ETF:

BlackRock
Fidelity
WisdomTree
VanEck
Invesco
Ark Invest

That's alot of potential reach for a "small" $600 Billion market. Case in point; Fidelity is pumping the fuck of of BTC mining stocks right now- I can't believe how much I'm getting paid. I hope it foreshadows the ETF effect.

I want to see big European institutions bringing their proposals. The stage has been set for them; MiCa has been passed and there are already institutional grade Defi projects waiting to onboard them seamlessly into the space and help them create unique Defi products. The ball is now in their court I guess.

>- Bitcoin halving (April 2024)

The Bitcoin halving has a proven track record of driving up prices, but the timeline is variable. It could take a few months before the market fully reacts but it will eventually react. Regarding the Fed's rate hikes, their impact on crypto prices might be more indirect.

From Q1 2024, i believe we should start witnessing a bullish crossover provided traditional institutions are granted the ETFs they appliend for.
