Buffet made it big in a different world.
He is a boomer who got rich in a world with increasing population and positive interest rates. We won't have this luxury.
Buffet would never invest in a FAANG too, because they have little intrinsic value, forgetting/ignoring the fact they constitute the major business of our economy nowadays.
We cannot play it as safe as him, it's simply impossible to us. We struggle even to beat inflation. We don't have it that "easy".

I have no doubt electric cars are the future (the lobby is too strong). It will be inforced by law regardless. The question is: you have competition.
