How much do you make a year?

>> No.55441484

$0. Only installment loan I've ever had is a very small mortgage, and paid it off early after a couple years. Use credit cards too, but everything's on autopay and never carry a balance.

I avoid debt like the plague. If you don't have the money to buy something in cash, don't buy it. Simple as. Only exception would be a mortgage.

15k give or take. Was in a pretty bad financial situation for the first few years after college and just flat out ignored the payments. Sucks that I’ve got a delinquency on my credit but it’s not like I’ll be taking out a mortgage or car loan any time soon.

20k undergraduate (would have been more but I worked security, was a reservist, and had the old GI Bill that paid 40k over three years)
300k for four years of law school, for a JD and an LLM
40k to pay the unbeknownst to me at the time on probation Jamaican dentist from the Montel Williams show to crown and veneer every tooth in my mouth (half dozen of those broke after four years)
-----------------
360k at 8.5% interest, get job at a tech company for $75k, never pay more than the bare minimum on an income based repayment plan (this actually works out the best financially, unless I am very wealthy when it is forgiven and the tax bomb still exists), just keeps going up and up, been over ten years, less than fifteen to go
