Hey /biz/, here's some actual, genuine alpha:

Pic related got a 540k OP grant last year, and they pledged to use it as part of a 6-month incentives plan on Optimism where you'll get free OP and TAROT for borrowing and lending. More details are in their proposal thread below:

This plan will also come with supply vaults that auto-lend your tokens to isolated pools to maximize APR, and the performance fees will go directly to those who hold staked TAROT (xTAROT). This plan doesn't have an exact start date, but it was teased to release after the release of Velodrome V2, which could happen at any moment now.

Tarot was a Fantom shitcoin that dumped just like everything else on that chain, but the team has done a fantastic job expanding to multiple chains and limiting emissions to bribes on Solidly forks that guaranteed them large veNFT positions. Through this, they got one of the biggest veVELO positions and will be airdropped a big chunk of the initial supply for Aerodrome, Coinbase's first DEX. I'm expecting TAROT to do at least a 10x from this.

For the past year you could only "farm" it by voting for Tarot LPs on Solidly forks, which was a net positive for Tarot since they farmed the fuck out of them and got seismic veNFTs with their own POL. All protocol fees outside of Fantom were directed to their POL too so they could do this more efficiently.

Once they start pouring fees outside of Fantom into xTAROT, the APR will be stupidly high.
