One of it's products needs a billion to get functioning, even if they cut the product from their portfolio now they are obliged to honour existing maintenance contracts, some set for 5-10 years.
They had a downtrend during covid and a decent rise, but this was due to big banks investing in them for muh green energy goals.

On the other hand, they have other products that sell pretty well, and the parent company Siemens invested a ton to gain ownership, I doubt they're willing to let it go that easily.

I bought a September ARAV put yesterday because they have a "catalyst" that should be in August for their ovarian cancer. The stock should go down to straight up zero if they fail their cancer therapy endpoint because there is literally no future for the company otherwise. It's a liquidity cash-out at that point.

It would be useful if they said whether the performance was measured before or after management fees. It's kind of hard to believe that 80-90% of fund managers could be incompetent and still keep their jobs, the theory I've heard that makes more sense is that when they beat the index they increase the management fee to the point that they absorb all the extra profit (at which point investors take their money out and find another manager who recently beat the market).
