Problems outside of spam are the fact it's not peer reviewed - how do we know everything about it works? Personally I haven't read all of the WP, but I'm doubtful about what their strategy about makung sure nodes don't cheat their balances. Then there's the fact that transactions can't be grouped into blocks, causing potential network delay problems. Also there are no incentives to running full nodes, and the POW ruins it because nobody wants to do it for you for free eventually
