do it for one year. invest $3000 into whatever, get a x2 or x10 and now you have money to invest elsewhere. Getting the snowball formed is the hardest part, they want you to stay in your class, to never ascend. Once its formed and you push it down the hill it grows.

I am not currently saving but I when I used to I would be able to put away maybe $5000 a month. When I would allow myself some liberties I was able to put away about $2500. Once I buy a home this winter I will either be saving $0-2500 a month (basically my old saving habits -$2500 mortgage). I technically should be saving for a house right now buy buying rare tools/parts for my car and rare Switch games have taken precedence (my priorities are not very in check)
Thank God I have $150k in BTC right now if it hits even $30k again in the next 6 months I will be set for my entire 30s, if Bitcoin keeps crabbing between $25k-$30k and I take advantage of the swings I will pretty much have my 40s on lock too alongside my company car, matched 401k, and top-tier health insurance

Nothing now.

When I worked ($28.14/hr) I would put $300 a week into checking account for living expenses, and the balance into savings. I was putting 5% into 401k /Roth 401k and $48 a week into HSA.

In 2020 I saved $18,700, put $10,900 in 401k/Roth and $2550 into HSA.
