Well I ended up losing it all, its all gone, ive got like $4000 USDT left on 1 exchange that im all in on atm on a 10X short XRP which is gona get liquidated at $0.513

I cant believe I lost it all this year trying to get to 5 bitcoin. My entire goal was swing-trading myself to 5 Bitcoin, I managed to get to 4.40 Bitcoin at my peak, then I managed to lose it all swing-trading this last 6 months.

I can't believe it. I just threw away my entire future financial security because I had my mind set on getting 5 Bitcoin. I wish I was trolling, but I am not, I actually fucked up completely.

Now I am lost and dont know what to do anymore. The last 3 years of my life has been Cryptocurrency, looking at charts all day, thinking about Crypto, etc. Now I have nothing left in Crypto.

Before this I was into lifting weights for 10 years, but I failed to get anywhere with lifting weights, so I failed at the gym, I failed at crypto.

Not sure what else to do now. I am in my mid 30s now.

Its actually over at this point I think. Everything I ever try fails miserably.

Sniper bots, even when they tell you a project is safe, don't account for slow rugs.

I've literally done everything you mentioned to the extreme, but I still got slow rugged everytime I made a gamble on a shitcoin.

Immediate rugpulls are easy to spot, but the slow rugs are the real death kneel for 99% of shitcoin traders who ultimate fail.

>> No.55256994

>99% of shitcoin traders who ultimate fail.
Then be part of the 1%. It's simpler than it seems.
There are only 2 good buypoint entries in a shitcoin.
1. The very first block when the trading starts(followed by selling the top)
2. The dip caused by other sniper bots and panic sellers
Only do No.2 if the volume is good and/or the coin seems strong (relatively good utility for a shitcoin, insider info, strong team/community etc)
And remember, it's never too early to take out your initials. If you're low on capital, taking your initials even at 2x is a good move. Hell, if you're down that bad, don't hesitate to sell your entire bag for a 1.5-2x.

doesn't matter. doubt XRP will pump if they win. crypto is dead. gary will continue harrassing and suing everything crypto that isn't BTC or ETH (which central banks are already planning to run CBDCs on) until the wheels fall off. and if you don't think gary will appeal the case to the point where brad just doesn't have the funds to fight the SEC anymore and give up kek is all i have to say to that faggotry

gary's basically going to FUD and sue everything under ETH and he doesn't want any crypto exchange in on the USA's CBDC action. this is why robinhood is being left alone and complying because they literally run through a conglomerate of brokers / banks. they're just the middlemen. if you wanna gamble shitcoins go to las vegas. digital assets weren't meant for that per satoshi

You have a computer, a phone, an internet connection, and a brain. You have access to a billion times more information than the richest person 100 years ago, and a super computer in your pocket. What I'm trying to say is, fucked as all of this is, go outside and enjoy the last real sun before winter and get some perspective. You'll find that you've been on a journey that very few people have gotten to experience. You're still young enough to turn things around. Haven't read your earlier posts, so I don't know what you do for work etc, but perhaps this would be a good time to get a degree or focus on getting more steady income for a while. If only to take your mind off the cryptogrind.

Next time you'll hopefully be smarter (or have a wife who'll be smarter) and put a chunk of your winnings aside for a rainy day. Please learn from your mistakes.

But seriously, after you've processed this life altering set of events, you'll be stronger for it. Perhaps not rich, but so few are.

I found this thread incredibly inspiring, as I've undergone a similar journey. For fun, and perhaps as a reminder, I've put together the insights gathered here. Past mistakes and experiences truly are the best teachers. Reading your posts evoke lots of emotions about my past mistakes, making these lessons far easier to comprehend and remember for the future. I'd also like to note that a bear market, like the one we're currently in, presents the perfect opportunity to prepare for the next bull run.

1. Avoid Extreme Margin Trading: Trading on margin can enhance returns but significantly increases risk. Limit this risk by using comfortable levels of leverage - this might be 2x, 5x, or 10x. Avoid using excessive leverage or making swing trades that can result in significant losses.

2. Dealing with Losses: Losses are part and parcel of the trading world. When you experience a significant loss, avoid the impulse to chase those losses in a desperate attempt to recover. Instead, reassess your strategy, and understand you're essentially starting again.

3. Resetting Your Perspective: It's crucial to stay grounded when valuing your portfolio. If it dropped from $500k to $100k, view it as if you always had $100k. This approach helps maintain emotional balance and set more achievable growth goals.

4. Independence and Risk-taking: Everyone's trading journey is unique, and you should make decisions that make sense for you, even if they seem risky to others. If a calculated risk ("yolo") aligns with your risk tolerance and financial goals, don't shy away from it.

5. Focus on Small Caps and Patience: Small-cap cryptocurrencies can offer significant returns for those willing to be patient. Rather than following the crowd, find and invest in low market cap coins with strong potential. One example could be ALPH, but remember to conduct thorough research before investing.

6. Leverage Community Knowledge: Cryptocurrency communities are a goldmine of information. Participate actively in discussions, ask for advice, and continuously learn. But remember to be discerning - not every recommendation will be a winner.

7. Find Potential Gems Early: The key to successful investing often lies in identifying promising low-cap cryptocurrencies before they "pop" or significantly increase in value. Certain groups and communities, like 'club_dinero' on Telegram, often spot these potential gems early. Joining these groups could give you access to valuable insights and potential investment opportunities.

8. Active Participation in Communities: To gain valuable insights and information, participate actively in relevant groups. Lurk, ask questions, investigate, and conduct thorough research. By doing so, you can often spot promising opportunities before they become mainstream.

9. Use MetaMask Safely: Using MetaMask or similar wallets securely is crucial to protecting your assets. Conduct comprehensive research on security practices, because any mishap could lead to severe losses.

10. Separate Trading and Storage Wallets: While MetaMask is excellent for executing trades, it's not the safest choice for long-term storage. To prevent losses due to malicious contracts or hacks, consider transferring your coins to a secure non-MetaMask wallet for long-term safekeeping.

>> No.55258488

11. Maintain a Work-Life Balance: Trading cryptocurrencies can be intense and consuming. If you've suffered a significant loss, step back, enjoy life outside crypto, and gain perspective. The experience you gain from this unique journey can be invaluable.

12. Diversify Your Income Streams: Don't put all your eggs in one basket. If you've experienced a setback in crypto trading, it might be a good time to focus on generating a steady income elsewhere, perhaps by getting a degree, taking on a job, or starting a side hustle.

13. Resilience and Long-term Vision: Even after significant losses, remember that there's always room for recovery. The journey might be challenging, but with time and effort, you can turn things around.

14. Learn From Mistakes: If you've experienced a windfall, consider setting some of it aside for a "rainy day". Future you will appreciate your foresight. Remember, learning from past mistakes is the key to avoid repeating them.

15. Acknowledge the Risks: Cryptocurrency trading, like any form of trading, is a form of gambling. You may have been lucky up until a point, but always remember that the entire stake could be lost at any time.

16. Leverage Your Assets: You have a computer, a phone, an internet connection, and your brain. These are valuable assets. With these resources, you have access to more information than the wealthiest person did 100 years ago, and you carry a supercomputer in your pocket.

17. Capitalize on the Information Age: If you're smart enough to try Bitcoin trading, then you're smart enough to make the most of the information age. You can learn anything you set your mind to, and there are countless ways to earn money that don't involve trading Bitcoin. So, explore, learn, and diversify your income streams.

I will stick to buy and hold and see where it get's me, once I get the stack to the levels in my brain I will try to diversify in smaller caps, I have a dream and I will not let it go whatever happens, this is life if there are downsides in life, there must be some upsides as well coming our way

In the very fucking slim chance none of this is a larp. Crypto is at its lows all you have to do is load up and hold a few years. Crypto should be your side game anyway (it is mine). You should be building a business, and using that to build a property an crypto protfolio.

>What are these used for, whats the benefit? What are some good free ones that arent scams?
Sniper bots and scripts are used to make your transaction go through faster in the chain.
Lets say a coin is launching, you buy through uniswap manually. The other guy is using a sniper bot.
Your buy will go through at near the top (because of all the time it took you to manually swap tokens) meanwhile the sniper guy will get a much better entry than you. Shitcoins pump a lot on the first wick, so the sniper guy might be already sitting on a 5x on his initial while you're just breakeven. He sells on you and you lose money.
Sniper bots are used to get your buy happen as fast as it can when a coin launches.
The speed of your snipe depends on the bot but majorly on your node. (So you'll need both a good bot and a good node)
>How do you identify the good coins that are hitting the market or does the bot do it for you?
My bot(and most other bots can usually spot a blatant scam like a honeypot or a mint function) but to identify which coins are great and which are not you'll need to look at other things.
Even the coins that seem legit at first glance might not be sureshot mooners.
Identifying them is a skill that you'll develop overtime when you keep flipping shitcoins.
Some basic things to keep in mind-
>Who's buying the coin?
Check the wallets that bought the coin. Do they seem like good wallets? Check their trading history, do they have a good/profitable trading history?
>Check the dev wallet
See what activities the dev has been engaging in/has engaged in. Has he rugged before? Does he launch lots of coins?(devs who launch too often are called farmers and you're better off not buying their shit). If the dev has launched before, how well did his last coin go?

>keep an eye on the volume
A coin with good volume is bullish and is likely to recover from dips instead of dying. Sometimes ,if the volume is good enough, you can buy the dip and sell on the recovery pump. Coins with low volume are much more susceptible to violent dumps with no recovery.
>Check the liquidity
A healthy/ large liquidity pool is usually a bullish sign. Also keep an eye on how long the lp has been locked or if it has been burnt.
I sometimes hold a coin and wait for lp lock or burn. If the lp has been locked for longer or has been burnt, the coin is more likely to perform well.
>See the name of the coin, the community, the website etc etc
Is it a unique name? Is it a name that suits the current meta? Does the website look good or does it look like it was made by some Fiverr dev? Is the community active?
>Build connections
This is extremely important and helpful.
Swallow your pride. Download telegram, discord, Twitter and hang out in Defi communities. Hide your power level and try to build some connections and friendships with people. Many private groups in defi share info with each other and this often includes potential good coins.
Sadly, I'm not very good with people so this part is something that I'm still working on. But I know people who literally get spoonfed all the information about good coins simply because they're very well connected in different crypto circles.
There are some more tips but the best way to learn is to try it by yourself.

Thank you friend, I really appreciate your guidance. I have been trying to learn shitcoin trading for the past 2 weeks through trial an error and this definetly helps.

>Sniper bots and scripts are used to make your transaction go through faster in the chain.
Alright, I understand this part. Can you recommend good bots for beginners?

>Even the coins that seem legit at first glance might not be sureshot mooners.
Okay, but where do you search for them? Do you just hang out on new live pair listings on dextools? I have been also trying r/cryptomoonshots, joined presales on pinksales etc, but most end up being either honeypots, rugs, scams or just dump. The only good ones I find usually already have pumped.

Which actually leads me to my next question:

>Who's buying the coin? Check the dev wallet, keep an eye on the volume, check the liquidity, see the name of the coin/community/the website etc

Okay, but by the time I have done all my due dilligence wont the coin already have pumped? Some of these things you cant really know upfront sometimes or by the time that you know it already has pumped. You said yourself that the best time to buy is right at the beginning, but how an you tell right at the beginning the quality of the coin before it pumps?

>>Build connections
Im in a few good quality groups right now and that helps a lot, but people struggling themselfes most of the time. I guess you would need to get into thoe VIP insider groups but thats probably highly unlikely
