I dont think you understand what the memo system is anon...holy fuck go learn about our banking sector and swift. Let me educate you....SWIFT is basically an enterprise (and shitty) version of AOL instant messenger. a customer wants Bank1 wants to xfer funds to bank 2. Bank 2 sends a swift message to bank 1

then it takes 3-5 business days for the banks to actually settle through this same system. At no time does actual money get transferred, only words. Any crypto you see with a memo field (or the ability to put any style note) means that THIS particular crypto system is above and beyond what swift is, its capable of transferring money(read: value) AND information. What this means is if we can get the world running on one of these cryptos, the banks can no longer manipulate things even when they have 0 dollars to do so as they can no longer only use words (in swift) and will instead have to deal with words AND money, which the banks actually have none of since its all loaned out due to there not being any reserve system currently in place.
