In retrospect, was Elon’s purchase of Twitter a good or bad decision?

>> No.55224281

Obviously bad, he painted himself a giant target on the back trying to dabble in power games he shouldn't have dabbled in by building a cult of retards to build up his ego. My impression, midlife crisis

>> No.55224285

It was the decision of all times.

It depends. It was tantamount to declaring war on globohomos, which was then promptly punished, making him cuck out and giving the WEF control of Twitter again. On one hand, it was the right decision ethically and morally. On the other, he cucked out, achieved nothing of significance and the Jews now all backed away. In other words, it was bad financially.

To early to tell, but since no viable alternative exists I'd say it was probably a good move. He just needs to find a way to get more cash flow.
Why doesn't Twitter have better streaming capabilities, the ability to donate to your favorite e-celebs, links to merchandise sites, etc.
Twitter is the equivalent to the ancient Greek agora; he needs to actualize on the commercial and mercantile aspects of that.
He could take a small cut from each transaction and make a ton of money.

Musk? Likely, I cant say it for certain, but something give me the feeling that maybe somebody has dirt on him, or convinced him to do "the right thing" using him in the end as a stabilizing entity the leaderless maga crowd could look up to, before going really for sedition for the election fraud of 2020

The stock and deal price was massively overpriced and he has wiped 2/3rds of the value. From the math I did a while assuming that he would turn it into PayPal, it would take close to 10 years to break even.

Well he made crypto more accessible so thanks to that tokens like rebate don't get shadowbanned like they used to. It's good shit

>>55224258
only thing he did wrong was not pointing out that some private ((family)) owns reddit and a ton of media outlets and no one had an issue

And what would it have done? His maga crowd is mostly aware and people seem to naturally somehow gravitate away from the obvious blatant jewish propaganda media by themselves. He would have just painted a bigger target on his back as he already has. But his ego might likely really going to fuck him up some day, if his removal and destruction of reputation isn't already signed of on. He picked a fight he wont win, and should maybe consider to lay low for some time and gtfo of the USA

>> No.55224617 [DELETED]

>>55224592
it would have shown the entire world the hypocrisy of all the criticism towards him while millions of libs gobble up reddit daily

And they would keep gobble it up. The only thing I see for the progressives, being used by the chicago boys fascists, to wake up is a mistake by them, they already got primed to mistrust Musk. Though I have a feeling that an internal clean up is happening in the agencies because the stability and power of the US was threatened by the Chicago fascists, I can't be sure about it. The US has a social cleavage that goes beyond Weimar Germany, and I hope it is being cleaned up, and the next stage is bait the most radicalized progressive SA members that wont be able to return to be not radicalized, and put them in pink.

Bad because his megalomania got in the way of making any remotely smart decisions, starting with paying $44B for it and thinking he can run it all on his own, and ending with him chasing advertisers off because he turned the site to an even bigger unusable shitheap than before. Now Meta's making a Twitter competitor that will steal the rest of his revenue and mog the site forever.

He really should've hired a CEO from the start and fucked back to Tesla. What a fucking retard.

In terms of pure money at this point in time is a bad way to look at any at any business deal. Twitter was at one point almost 25-30% over Musk's buyout price. In some ways I think it was a bit of a dare moment for the powers that be that artificially used Twitter to manufacture consent for all sorts of horrible shit during COVID. In a lot of ways Twitter was the social arm of ESG.
In a lot of ways I think they weren't expecting the transition to survive. They thought that people had been genuinely so buck broken by COVID and official fact checkers that people would be demanding a return to a globohomo led social media network. But no one really left, the alternatives went nowhere, and Musk now effectively owns the media town square. How much that's worth in dollars going forward is anyone's guess, but overall I'd give it a 7/10.

Bad. Elon musk is also a colossal retard, and only rich because he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Many such cases

it was just a decision

>> No.55224917

Good.
It already has fuck you money made out of thin air with his company operating just by a "fake it until you make it".
Buying Twitter, even if it costed a shitload of money, was an opportunity to gain POWER that is something that you crave after you made money and you don't even know how to spend them at some point, so then you chase power at that point and owning Twitter that you like it or not gives you power.

>> No.55224990

good, but only if he fires all the dyed haired roasties that still run it and initiates a meritocratic algo for search and trending etc.

Twitter works like shit after he buy it, so Musk exposed himself as a fraud in front of the biggest and most insufferable social network of the world. I think it was a good decision
