I bet there'll be more and more of these headlines coming in the future until liquidity and confidence dried up or at least until sanctioned countries stopped using crypto somehow.
Chances are literal feds were involved in this atomic story.

I'm in crypto since 2017 and I have successfully avoided getting hacked or rugged, but now is the first time where I really feel as if my area of security is really closing in and becoming smaller and smaller even though I'm very autistic about it.

Doesnt matter how safe your seed is if for example the seed was generated using a weak random function like they did in trust wallet, you can be drained

Really made me realize the best option is to shuffle your seed yourselfnwith dices unironically, that or audit the seed generation code yourself

It will then turn out that the money was embezzled by atomic itself, that atomic is run by an israeli jew living in new york and that attempts to prosecute him have been met with 'meh' by the jewdges.

Regardless bitcoin is the future of finance, but you should stop trusting jews.

Yes, it could in thoery. Luckily Metamask/Consensys is not nearly as retarded as these idiot devs.
Lots of eyeballs on Metamask too. Not that it's invulnerable, but there are definitely schizo autists(the good kind) looking at their releases and changes on github.

I caved a few months ago and finally bought 1 whole bitcoin several months ago. I ended up storing it on Atomic Wallet. It's gone now. My culpability ends and begins with using a software wallet. I don't give out my password nor download fishy stuff. I don't understand how a "hacker" can drain my wallet with private keys and everything because of some global software update. Very clear that the developers always had a backdoor and they themselves rugged their customers considering how widespread it is. Never trust a slav
