Is this a good middle ground to wage slaving? Bar/restaurant at night

Working at night and skimping on sleep will age you rapidly and fuck you over.

Literally nobody who is successful is out at night. Anybody who is still out if their house after 10pm is a subhuman, doesn’t matter if you’re drinking/working/whatever. Only exception is if you like to go to the gym at night cus it’s empty. Morning fastes workouts are far superior though anyway so the point still stands.

>> No.55057322

I never said you have to be out of your house. I'm never on my computer until after 10 pm every night

I followed this guy on twitter. He and another guy called Coltybrah started a camelbak ripoff called Vibedration in their college years and made some millions, and then rolled that into Killclub which is a brand for all the MMA bros. They are smart and successful.

However they are total douchebags because all they do is troll working folks all the time about how rich and awesome they are. Whenever anybody calls them outz they post all this fake outrage like "haters gonna hate lol" *hate comes from beneath".

Im all about demoralizing normies, but these guys actually employ people. Imagine sitting in your office all day trahsing your employees for working for you. Its just old. Elon Musk never does this shit.

yeah, these dudes don't care. They just want to pump their egos to the moon showing off their expensive hobbies, mindset tweets about the "Mission is everything" aka sell t-shirts and shorts from China with a logo slapped on them, and promote their $800 course to be "just like them"

all he did was build a brand and drop ship cheap shit from china. you could have done that too if you got in early enough. Kinda like shitcoining but not as efficient

this kind of thing was possible from 2019-2021, i.e. working at a bar/doing Uber/Doordash while you did a side project. People made decent money

it's not possible anymore. Inflation, hiring of thousands more IRS agents, high gas prices due to "environmentally friendly" policies and other really poor policy decisions have killed any hope for young entrepreneurs. Get back in your cages

>> No.55057626

>>55057615
Even before inflation that shit wasn’t worth it. I did uber for a month in 2018 and I was averaging about $10 an hour not including gas so probably closer to $8 an hour. Fucking unreal

I work as a night concierge/security. Some days I clock in, do whatever the fuck I want on the Puter, clock out. The only difference between how I am spending my time at "work" and at home is that at home I get high, besides that I am comfymaxxing.

You have to be charismatic to actually make money doing this. But if you are and can handle the chaotic whores and retards you’ll work with, yes it can be a good idea. My husband is a bartender at a nice-ish family restaurant and easily brings in $700-800 a week (we live in a very cheap area) just working 3-4 days a week. He’s working on some certifications on the side right now

>> No.55058387

My cousin who spent many years on drugs and the streets has gotten clean, she lives in an expensive /rich white people area and makes like $300 a day serving at a chain restaurant . My brother is also a server right now, early 20s and affords a whole 2 bedroom place to himself on that. Honestly serving/bartending is a good spot to be in right now because if you live in an area with white people who will tip, it’s one of the few low level jobs that will keep up with inflation. Plus there’s lots of pent up demand for restaurants after the years of lockdowns.

i have a friend who drives uber and makes about 4k+ a week, he simply just targets rich people from malibu/beverly hills/bel air and drops them off at the airport or hotels usually, they always tip him real good, you gotta work smart OP, not work hard

>> No.55060074

>>55055344
Short term it’s fine. You become loaded with cash and pay no taxes because you lie about tips. Long term it has no 401k and health insurance. Most people have no idea what an ira is also. Also most bartenders are drunks, comes with the biz

Use to bartend 1-2 times a month as side gig, would pull $200-300 cash a show and like $70 minimum wage lol

>> No.55060139

>>55058371
Also don’t believe this guy, shitty bartenders and shitty servers make like 90% of the best. People tip what they are going to tip regardless of how you act. I’d say for bartending speed and getting the next customer is the biggest thing

400-1000 3 nights a week
What a fucking fever dream.
Much closer to 100 dollars for 5 hours is more likely. Its very unlikely that you’re gonna make sell between 2000-5000 a night Thats like 100 to 300 20 dollar meals tipping 20 percent a night

Just apply. Most security companies are desperate for people, as long as you show up, they’re happy. Try G4S, allied universal, or securitas. They’re everywhere and they’re always hiring.
