So I call this the Boiling Frog theory. Over the past months I've observed that the Superstink mods have been pushing through cherry-picked narratives and allowing more posts that suggest conspiracies and the more wilder narratives/ideas. It's becoming progressively harder to come on the front page with new facts, research and meta discussions. For example, see how facts and statistics like RRP, short %, dark pool % and the Heat Lamp theory are featured less on the front page, while we see more unrelated GME stories or even conspiracies.

For example, the top posts over the past month have been:

Or the useless top post of today:

The GME play is to fuck over the (naked) shorts by locking the float and selling it for idiosyncratic numbers. Whether you want to hold it forever or just make a quick buck is irrelevant - the idea originates from the same.

The reason I'm calling it the boiling frog theory is because it started with this logical idea, so the frog can easily stay in the cool water. Now with either Reddit or the stinky mods filling the sub with alternate/unrelated narratives, so the water begins to boil. The frog (the initial investor) is being conditioned with the rising temperature (change of narrative) and will stay in the constant boiling water (conspiracy cesspool) until they are gone. Any new frogs you put in the boiling water will jump out immediately, since they only see a conspiracy theories and call the initial investors crazy. This will repel GME from getting traction, no matter how fucked the shorts are.

We would make it but the odds of it happening are very low yet not zero.
