Give up, crypto (decentralized database in a trustless environment) will never work as videogames are centralized by nature.

You NEED a clear and legally liable publisher to give you a reliable/safe download/client/server/support.
You NEED the developers to retain FULL CONTROL OVER ALL GAMES ASSETS to make any real and legit update/bug fix/balance/support.

Blockchain is 100% useless for gaming, always will, even in a real metaverse like ready player one/matrix, as those will still need a central autority in full control.

the best solution would be to just make crypto the ingame currency. You buy BTC, LTC or whatever, and buy your ingame skins and whatnot.

The biggest issue with nft vidya is that the games themselves suck and so its no longer 50% gameplay and 50% money making (as if you were grinding characters in WoW or LoL or something) and it becomes completely about the money and that's it. That doesn't retain a fanbase, hence, stops making money the second hype is gone. Look at Axie and PVU.

I prefer things like Nilo; NFTs with some lowkey videogame elements to them (in Nilo's case is Tamagotchi like mechanics, taking care of your nft and shit like that).

NFT games have several issues.

1. anything involving crypto prizes will greatly encourage people to cheat
2. Nobody would play these games if they didn't involve crypto prizes. You can buy things on steam that are 1000x times more enjoyable
3. Most crypto projects rug or go to zero, so the devs don't have a big incentive to give a shit

The Khuga NFT is basically the absolute limit on what you can do with crypto games (IE a staking lottery disguised as a PVE pet battle). I hope I'm proven wrong in the future, but I've seen way too many duds to have any hope for the NFT gaming sphere.
