what percentage of one's bitcoin stack should one spend on a home? I've noticed homes are worthless assets that decrease in value over time

Actually, homes are one of the only assets worth anything. I just bought a home for my small family and used the principle of 'buy the cheapest house in a good neighborhood.'.
