Trading for 5 to 10% profits is useless when you consider swapping fees, liquidity issues (dex) or cex fees for crypto, and the outrageous fees on stock trading platforms and forex trading platforms.

That's why you never trust the gurus who encourage you to see between those ranges - only 20% and above profit is viable for any net profit. Pretty difficult to do considering it's you versus the house (aka the whales) 100% of the time.
