I have 2k IG followers on a page I made about thick girls about a year and a half ago. What steps should I take to make money from this?

I tried that years ago man. I got to about 13k followers.
I'd just post random thick girls and was hoping to eventually start selling shout out's for OF girls for $10-$50. But it's alot of work to grow without eventually getting banned. It would be smarter for you to just buy a 50K follower account for a like a grand and then start from there.
