-gamble with them for 6-18 months
-sell them back to bitcoin

you didn't have to be an insider to get an easy 5x-10x on shitcoins like pepe, and alts like that appear dozens of times a year.

the magic is you don't need to, you just need to wait until the 100-1000x gains are gone and settle for 20-50x instead.

-stick to new altcoins that weren't around for the last run (launched after 2022)
-dont buy anything that has kept dumping since launch, good examples are zcash and icp
-wait until the bull run starts and see if they move up more than btc/eth, if they do, good

just don't break the golden rule: holding any altcoin into a bear market, or you'll be like those still holding avax or link bags
