I love the part when I make an offer on some land at the asking price outside the city and then some poojeet or chink straight off the boat can raise the stakes by 50% and prices me out of the market. Just so it can be turned into yet another rental at an absurd price as a means to park their wealth internationally. when you think about it, it truly is sickening. contiguous tracts of land that have been "in the family" for a century or more being sold to shekelberg & levenbaum development group, to be split into thousands of 0.1 acre goystable parcels @ $600k each. beautiful farmland that could have been intelligently sub-divided into large 1-2 acre plots for peace and comfort, permanently degraded to miserable suburban hellscapes.
