actual functional tech shit shouldn't be impacted as much. stuff like coders and data analyst are probably going to get hit super hard though. coders and programmers in particular. cybersecurity jobs should be pretty safe

Huh? How are coders not functional tech?

Define "functional tech". What about networking? Should I finally finish studying for my CCNA?

a bunch of delusional codeniggers will come into this thread full of outrage and fury, refusing to believing that their wagie job is subject to the same market forces that have tamed literally every non-regulated / non-wagie wagie (non-executive) job to have literally ever existed.

shit companies need to actually function, sysadmins, networking, security ect, a lot of companies over hire or overpay devs when they're planning forward but as soon as the economy comes to a halt that does too

You really need to go outside more. Most adult males don't have skin completely smooth and free of any detail like some cartoon.

Definitely a millennial copying zoomer fashion. The man admits to being the quintessential yuppie boba tea, hot pot half marathon loving addict. It would make sense that he would also copy the latest hair trend as well.

Accurate, all the coders sperging out because their services, which include googling how to fix a small portion of code, are not needed. Coders not needed

His profile says tech roast, I imagine it’s satire

>> No.54838828

The only way for tech salaries to go down is to increase the number of tech workers. Do you guys think companies will use more or less tech in the future?

I think things like AI can replace a lot of the current demand, but then again we'll be dependent on AI tech workers. Maybe if we start to import more tech workers from 3rd world.

>> No.54838917

>>54838245
Long term I think we're gonna see tech salaries go down and skilled labor salaries (mechanics, technicians, welding, etc.) go way up. AI isn't gonna replace THAT many people but it's gonna provide perspective for the correction.

A+ is really only good for those who will be supporting workstations or end user devices, which doesn't pay as well.
