I've been programming since I was 12 or so. I went to a lot of competitive programming competitions in high school. Did a year of college before covid hit, applied for jobs in the meantime and landed what I have today. I get a lot of respect from co-workers, but they're all 5+ years older than me and across the country so it's not like I'll ever see them. Part of me wants to go back to college to make friends, maybe try my luck with girls. Most likely I'll keep at this job for another 10-12 years and then fuck off to SEA.
