Wish Sergey would start dropping the BUILD tokens already ffs.

Checked.

He needs to kill the MEV Mafia before he can start dropping build rewards.

Brainlet here: how/when do we actually get those reward Linkies from staking?

When unstaking is added (later this year per the last communication on it)

Based. Fuck MEV. I truly can't wait to see FSS enabled protocols

Do you know how things will work for us passive stakers when slashing is online?

I think some description was given how slashing works. Without looking it up, I remember that basically as a passive staker your stake is
automatically equally divided among all the active staking nodes. Currently if a valid alert is raised I believe the bad node simply doesn't get paid. I am not sure if that also would mean the staking APY would drop slightly as part of your stake would be unproductive with them. Once slashing takes effect I'm not sure if only the bad node gets slashed or if passive staker funds are also slashed. It's not really a concern yet because I believe you'll be able to unlock and withdraw your stake before slashing goes live (v1 was when that was planned) also I think when slashing does go live you will be able to select individual nodes to choose to delegate to.

What's live is a very early system and I think they're still probably working through the architecture for all the edge cases.

Interesting. I wonder if there will be some form of riskless staking in any of this. Maybe some sort of slashing insurance for passive stakers for a small percentage or something.

Honestly just ignore it lol. The fud spammers are getting extremely desperate, scraping the absolute bottom of the barrel. They best they've come up in this latest go is some weird cuck thing, which is probably just unironically their own projection.
