I swapped 2,000 ETH to LINK once, and I am sitting at $500k right now instead of $4,000,000. Man all I can say is that when you make a choice that fucks you up that bad it’s hard to come back from. $4MM would have been more than enough for me to be free, $500k simply isn’t even close, and I have to live with that in this very moment LINK could still dump. And before anyone in this thread says you can be free with $500k, you don’t have 2 kids in school and a wife with expectations of not living in some third world shithole. Wealth is subjective and my life choices for better or for worse mean I need more of it than a single dude in their 20s.

Kek I did the exact same thing and I try not to think about it.
I’m not bitter or anything because I’m still certain that holding Link is going to pay off before long.
I truly believe in the future is going to be multi chain and that CCIP alone will be one of the most important keys to the future of finance.
Still, would’ve been nice to have a couple million right now and have a reliable return.

That’s pretty brutal. I just roundtripped LINK and went from $650K all the way down to $70K or so. I was never going to risk missing out on generational wealth for $500K so I don’t feel too bad about it.
We learned a tough lesson about markets though. I was very confident LINK would be worth hundreds, basically QNT is where I assumed LINK would be at the absolute worst case scenario by now.
At this point I genuinely have no clue if the token is needed because the price action’s lack of response to all of the adoption does not suggest it whatsoever. I’ve basically written it off and will sell most of my bags if we ever reach all time high again, while staking enough to be set for life if Citibank was actually right and it eventually is worth thousands per token. I strongly doubt it though
