LTC just doesn't make any sense to me. It's basically like BTC but doesn't offer anything special. ETH has smart contracts, XMR privacy. But what does LTC have? If you want fast cheap transactions (and BTC isn't that expensive to begin with), there are better options like XLM. Even DOGE has the meme value and XRP has the schizo beliefs. CHIA has an interesting mining system. You can go on and on. Maybe I'm missing something, but there's nothing I see to make LTC seem like a good hold. There's nimblewimble, but then that's just a worst XMR.

I'm an XMR user and I frequently have to swap to LTC to make payments because it's not accepted everywhere. I swapped to LTC to buy this 4chan pass.
I only hold like 30$ of litecoin, but here is my two cents: the "vanilla" forks of bitcoin like LTC and BCH may not have new gimmicks, but forking like this is really the solution to the cryptocurrency scaling problem, because you can just do atomic swaps between the forks. No need for LN or all this other crap.
It doesn't need to change the world as long as it has fast, cheap payments and people use it as cash.
That being said, LTC infrastructure is really bad. no open-source mobile wallet.

LTC is a commodity. It has a limited supply, and halving block rewards like BTC, it also has smart contracts. LTC will be under the radar for some time, it will have its rise like BTC and people will have wondered how they missed it just like LTC only to realize it has the same fundamentals.

In my personal experience it's the only coin that's widely accepted, fast transactions and I use it all the time to buy shit with.
I use no other crypto to buy shit with since btc fees are autistic similarly with eth.
Also price barely moves so I keep a couple of 100 in it for when I purchase something it's the only coin worth having as it's a good blue chip
