It's funny how you never see anyone argue that BTC's current solution to the scaling problem (SegWit) is better than BCH's (8x blocks).
Instead they attack people like Roger and Jihan, make up conspiricy theories, cencor discussion and deiberately use wrong names in the hope that it will piss of others than Ver.

They celebrate that tpb says BCash because that's pretty much all they have going on for them lately.

>It's funny how you never see anyone argue that BTC's current solution to the scaling problem (SegWit) is better than BCH's (8x blocks).

BCH ultimate scaling solution is the Visa Debit card. Just as centralized as LN with tons of advantages and it even improves life for people who want to keep it to on chain transactions. LN tries to punish people for not using it while Debit card makes things better either way.

Win Win Win and Win.

There is no contest, the most ideal solution for 2nd layer is a debit card.

BTC bubble is deflating on its own right now. We will see sub 10k soon.

Also:
Coinbase will launch BCH trading wordlwide (its just US right now)
Bitpay will launch BCH integration (already conformed)

That will spike a natural normiepump through coinbase and media generated by bitpays switch.

My guess is soon after Roger will mage sure the alt-exchanges intriduce BCH/alt pairs. Did you know he is heavily invested in hitbtc? Bet your ass he has connections to all the big exchange owners since hes one of the biggest whales out there. Hell Bitmain/Ver might throw the exchanges a couple million to get the pairs in there.

After that BTC is finished for good

I think they stay interlocked like most alts simp0ly because most volume in BCH and other alts is in BTC pairs. It will decouple when BTC goes sub 10k and even laggards understand BCH is the future.

>> No.5472149

>>5471867
As far as I know its a visa card that will simply have a wallet attached to it. Its a centralized solution for sure but it would work with everything. All transactions would be off chain using this kind of system as well. This means that you wont congest the block size for people who want to keep simply using BCH with normal on chain transactions.Less congestion == faster cheaper on chain transactions.

Not only that but it has the advantage that more than one company can make visa cards that work this way so you can choose the one you like most. So it wont even have monopolies.

Lightning network on the other hand fucking sucks major ass. Is super centralized and you wont be able to use it for anything. It depends heavily on shitty tech that wont be useful and its so fucked up and convoluted and confusing. Its fucking disgusting.

Debit card on the other hand works with everything, is not a new concept. And everyone benefits greatly.

yes, some large individuals are pushing prices but that's their own prerogative.

what is likely to happen is natural adoption. what occurs after this is a tipping point whereby miners are incentivized to mine bch over btc (due to prices). if this happens fast enough, a death spiral will trigger.

if it is slower and very much organic, it will be more of a death by 'natural causes' than a heart attack. btc hashrate will decrease more rapidly than its difficulty. there will still be time to get out but fees will rise at an incredible rate also.

on the internet it does. The first mistake is censorship, the second mistake is refusing to debate, the third mistake is resorting to personal attacks rather than actual arguments. Finally, if you side has shitty arguments to begin with its the final nail in the coffin.

Perception trumps reality 100% of the time. People have an innate sense to smell weakness and all of those things stink of weakness. Internet culture has a strong tendency to focus on Censorship, lack of debate and personal attacks over substance.

Core fucked up on every possible turn and thought some shills would have solved the problem.

Censorship causes people to regroup and echo chamber in an alternation location.
Refusing to debate makes you look fucking weak as shit and empowers the echo chamber more.
Personal attacks allows the other side to become the victims.

At that point pack up your bags, you lost the culture war.
