Gave my boss two week notice and she said she was dissapointed in me especially after they took a chance on me. She also said she saw me as a potential leader in the company.

I don’t do well under pressure so I apologized and told her I would reject the offer.

What the fuck do I do, the offer is a promotion and $30K more…

Depends on why you want to leave now I guess. For better pay? Then stay since the pay is going to get better. Leave immediately if they dont uphold their bargain, or if youre feeling safe, just leave now.

just based on how op typed it, it would appear that his CURRENT job did not offer him anything extra, the 30k "promotion" is with another company so its not actually a promotion just a higher role somewhere else.
He is saying that he got nervous and said he would reject this other company's job that would pay 30k more.

Accept the new fucking job. If you're too scared to confront your boss again, just don't say anything else and they'll get the picture when you stop showing up because you're at the new place. But I recommend you use this opportunity to build character and harden yourself by telling that bitch you're still leaving (after formally accepting which you should do right now, stop leaving them hanging.)

"I've been a loyal McDonalds corporate employee for 25 years. Because of this loyalty and niche expertise, my transferrable skills are pretty limited, there are only 2-3 other companies that have the kind of job that needs my experience. But that doesn't matter, McDonalds has been good to me and I love talking golf with Greg in the hallway, or asking Janet how her kids are doing at college.
